    Hi, I just came across to your wonderful channel, thank you! I do not have the P60 and I need to do the self-assessment for my other 2 self employment jobs I have. Is there a way to have a P60 from my previous part time employer?

    Great video. I am employed but my employer says they don't put people on the payroll system (or provide payslips for the first 3 months). I have told them employers need to provide payslips by law in the UK and they agreed to look into this. I've not heard back as yet.. I am an honest person so will declare my earned employment income on my self assessment tax return. Will that cause any problems for me or the employer? Firstly in that I don't have payslips. However, payments are paid into my account so I can show them these. Secondly, my earnings will be a different amount to what my employer declares, if I'm on the payroll in month 3. Would be grateful for your advice

    Let’s say you started self employment on 1st December 2022, do I just need to provide the P60 for April 2022/2023 from employment?

    If an employer doesn't issue P11D as all taxable benefits were included and taxed via payroll (ie. would be included in total in P45/P60). Does one still need to mark "Yes" or "No" for "Have you received any taxable benefits....."? There will be no figures to enter in that section. Thanks

    How do you fill it in if you've just gone in to higher earners but claiming child benefit. It asks for pension contributions, does that mean just mine or the employers as well which goes into it. It's so confusing for first time users.

    Hi, I am super confused about this self assessment.
    I never did self assessment as I am employed and being new to this country 10 yrs ago, I was told I do not need to do self assessment.
    But recently, when I changed my job, I was told by hmrc that owe tax (I don’t know how as my previous employers must have added correct tax code)
    I spoke to my friends and they asked me if I have been doing self assessment and I said no. Then they said I should and put in details about any charity or mileage for work etx..
    I was shocked taht I had to do this but no one told me.
    Now I am seeking professional help to help me with this. Can you help me understand this? I do not see any TH-cam video or any information around this. I do not want to ask my friends as I do not want to disclose my income

    Does anyone know where in the self-assessment I need to include Self-Isolation Support Grant. I was so happy to almost complete the assessment, but then I found out this needs to be added. All this hassle for 3 months of self-employed work :(

    • @tax2ulimited
      @tax2ulimited  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is tick box under the tailor your return section asking if you made contributions to a personal pension plan. You'll need to select yes here and then the pension section will be generated
