From the top of the hill right before Zarautz one can enjoy a really beautiful sunset (if you want, you can do so from the terrace of a nice restaurant located close to the camping ground up there), with the sun sinking below the horizon right behind Getaria. This was in my now sadly 56 years one of the most unforgettable moments.
The views are nice, and I can understand why it is a strong memory. I hope you can experience it again some day.

Absolutely. People always credit the Roman's with roads and aqueducts but their real contribution was the electric elevator.
