Despite ads, only for a few minutes at the beginning, this is an adoreable yarn featuring modern 😮 family versus relentless alien entity. Laugh out loud moments with "a boy and his dog". Marvellous, multi-layered and pacey. Enjoyed the narrator.

This narrator, Christopher Lane, is brilliant. He’s so natural and convincing as so many characters. He’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever heard as a man reading women’s roles. And I’ve listened to a LOT of audiobooks. 😂 There’s probably 3 male narrators I’ve heard who sound believable and not annoying when voicing female characters and he’s one of them.
