My Starting 6 for US in 2020 Olympics: OH1: Larson = the most experienced OH of the US, always reliable especially in backrow defense OH2: Robinson = the team needs a good receive and pass in order to execute plays and she has libero training, has good DTL hits as well MB1: Akinradewo = do we need to further explain this, hope she gets her condition back early next year MB2: Washington = she really turned out big during VNL and the Qualifiers. Still has room for improvement, but it's good to give her experience now as she would be there for 2024. S: Carlini = she is miles ahead of Hancock and Poulter in the starting setter race OS: Drews = She won MVP, if she can play the same way she did during VNL 2019, she's a shoo in for the starting spot L: Courtney = She did a good job, still some room for improvement though Hill and Bartsch-Hackley can be put in for offense purposes (if Larson and Robinson can't score on attacks). Lowe will play the role of the reliable off the bench girl again (If Drews struggles), Lowe can be used as well during double subs together with Hancock (the more internationally experienced one as compared to Poulter). The MBs of the bench would be Dixon and Ogbogu (she is taking a time off the team, hope she returns soon because she turned heads during VNL), if Chiaka doesn't return then i can see another Olympic stint for Adams (she can easily take that MB2 position, if Washington does not hustle and put in the work plus its always good to have a veteran coming off the bench). Then another natural libero either Wong-Orantes or Benson (depends who shows consistency and improvement during trainings) The team needs good defenders, both on the floor and on the net. We are rooting for you guys!!
