I was there just as tourism was opening back up last November. My hotel was the one out the left hand side that you can see! One of my favourite foods was the squid wrapped egg from the shop on the right side of the station (if you are walking towards the main exit). I really enjoyed the little shopping mall in the morning market. I got a cute wood cut Hokkaido bear and ate at one of the restaurants. Watching this video is bringing back great memories. I loved Hakodate!
I really like to see all these little restaurants and that morning market. Where I come from, we don't really have such a market. We only have supermarkets. But I think it's so much nicer to see all these people coming together at a morning market. It must be nice to walk through all these places and to experience so much while making these videos!
