OMGoodness ... when you started talking about teaching the little ones, I started crying too .... (I'm super emotional as well) and YES!!! Don't just LOVE when the little one's eyes light up when you make them feel loved, accepted, BRIGHT, and they are soooo sweet and HONEST ... hahhahhah .... So many cute things they say too ... I have an album of the drawings they make me (Even my Grade 8s draw me things!!) and it's TRUE that many times the job helped US ... The hugs, the smiles, the giggles, the fun-songs ... (hehhehhe .. My family hates when I still play cocomelon when no little kids are around ... hahhah) 🤗🌸💚🌿💗🍄🌈☀🎀💟💝🌟🥰🌷✨😊 I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! I truly believe we are destined and we're given opportunities when it's THE RIGHT TIME xoxoxoxo I love your collection of beautiful babies! HUGS AND LOVE to you!!!
I typed a reply and went back to check and it was gone. Oh well, I was saying that yes! You know what an amazing experience this is! These children are so precious and like little sponges at this age! They soak it all up! I am so thankful to have had the job i did all those years and I am grateful that I now have this opportunity! I am SO grateful for your new path at this preschool. This is what you are great at and God always finds a way to lead us to where we are meant to be Sis. So sweet thank you for sharing this w us. Your new girl is stunning in that yellow! Oh my word. I feel you on being an empath. I cry over most things that stir up emotions wether sad or happy. I also stay up so late in bed worrying about strangers that I see in the news. I have to take breaks from it bc it drains me. Sending you Huge hugs and lots of love. Those headbands are absolutely GORGEOUS! Almost makes me wish I still had my baby girls out! Your lovely babies are going to look so precious wearing them - you MUST make some videos showing us your girls in outfits showing off their new headbands. I was wondering just how much rain y'all got there from that hurricane, especially since I know your state was just hit hard with flooding. So many crazy things going on. I swear that I can't even hardly watch the news anymore as it makes my head hurt too much and it makes me say bad words!!!! But it is always so nice to come here to see your sweet babies and have a little visit and chat with you. Good luck finding names for the babies... I always used to love naming my girls those enchanting old-fashioned names from the 20's, 30's and 40's, like Viola, Olive, Ruby, Luella, Mathilda, Winnie, Adeline, and Etta... just to name a few! I used to make lists upon lists of names just to have incase I got another girl. So happy about your new job - so many new and exciting things to look forward to. Sounds like it was definitely a "God-Wink!"

This happens to me more than I would care for let me tell you. Sometimes the name fits but lots of times the baby comes and it’s not the best fit at all. So very true. Even the babies I watched “being born” and thought I had the name all throughout the process and then they came and bam - not the match at all. I wonder what is hat about. But I’m right there with you Shan ❤️.

I couldn’t agree more Sis! I have such a struggle w names bc I am SO picky lol the worst is when you THINK you have finally chosen the perfect one and the baby arrives,, and NOPE! Back to square one! Ugh lol that name struggle is REAL! 😩😓🙄😞

Congratulations on your new job sweetheart I am so proud of you I know how you feel honey I did daycare for two years and I had 20 students at the age of 2 years old lol they were a lot of fun LOL not always but love each and every one of them! I wish I could have kept on going at it but I couldn't place the place closed down a year after I left! Those babies were my heart when I was there they were just amazing little boys and girls and I know what it means to spend money that you didn't have to spend but you did it anyway because you just wanted to! And I'm like you but I just don't watch the news anymore because if I do I cry and I cuss and I don't want to do that so I just don't watch it anymore I just listened to my family watch it because it hurts too much! Your allowed to tell us about your good news and vent at the same time we know the difference in happiness and we know you're happy you're not sad! God bless you sweetheart but I love you great big hugs!

What an interesting story about your new job and about where your passion about your career originally came from. I didn’t know all these details. I so love it.
Do you also think that many people loosing their jobs and staying home can be one of the reasons that impacted so many preschools closing? Here in Chicago it’s the same issue.

I know it’s your calling, your love for teaching the little ones. You created a legacy with so many families, you touched so many children’s lives and so many families ❤️.
I got all teared up listening to your story. Oh I can only imagine how you will miss those old families, but you have to look ahead my dear. More families waiting for you at your new job, more kids waiting for their Miss Shannon.
What a blessed bunch to have you at the beginning of their lives. Teachers are people who can influence so many things in our lives when we are just babies learning about life.

Thank you for your kind comment! It helps you know I am not alone. So many times in my life people have said “you are way too sensitive! Why do you take everything so personal?” I don’t know. I have always been sensitive, even since I was a small girl. I have worked hard trying to toughen my outer shell. I have gotten a lot better in some ways…. In other ways- not so much. Oh well, I have learned this. We are all doing the best we can. Everyone is going through something. Let’s just be kind to each other and if we can’t do that- let’s be grown women and be quiet. ❤️🙏🏻 sending you love and light. And you know what? I truly truly mean it. ❤️
