    Dude thanks so much for this. I started doing this off a neck roll into that second behind the back roll and just continued all three over and over and it looks nuts.

    the bo staff is my favorite weapon of choice, this video is amazing !! I also follow Matt pasquinilli another great youtuber that is awesome at wielding the bo staff

    Nice, looks awesome! How about something like the "Z" body roll?
    Also, do you know how well this works with a heavier wooden staff or contact staff? Not tried it yet but I can imagine it'll take a few attempts!

      That sounds cool! I've tried it with heavier bo's and it still works, it's just that a bit more force is needed to roll the bo up to your hand. Although if a bo is really heavy then I would avoid tricks that could cause injuries. 😊

      Thanks! Unfortunately the manufacturer only says the bo is made of a 'light wood', but doesn't say which kind.

    Hey, thanks for the tutorial. Does this work with a shorter staff? Mine is 4 ft and I can get it around ok, but it doesn't rotate around my head to the other side very well. It's also hard to get up my body since I have shorter arms as well. Any suggestions or adjustments?

      It's possible, but it definitely is going to be a lot more difficult when you are using a staff that is short in comparison to your height.

    Actually my Bo is 6' and kinda heavy. I have done double neck rolls, but that alone takes effort to push and pull that weight. This looks even more harder. Is it possible to do this body roll in a heavier bo?

      It's definitely possible, but it's a lot harder and there is an increase in the chance of injury.
