    No one played games at my house either. We always got them for Christmas, then they went into the hall closet drawer to live until they mysteriously disappeared. Love the lunch box memories. I would have used the case! It would have been fun to put my little dolls in it and use it as a house, since I never had one. When I found myself raising my two grandchildren, I really gave a lot of thought to things like, end of life stuff. I want to know they will be safe, loved and well cared for after I'm gone. I do understand the pause to give that subject some thought. If you love your collection, it's ok to be a collecting lunatic. I suppose that's what some would call me too. I'm good with it.

    It would have been cool if they made more of the 16-inch LJN figures. Andre, Macho Man, Iron Sheik, and Paul Orndorff would have been cool to see. I know that some guy on TH-cam made his own custom 16-inch Andre and Macho Man figures and a few other ones, I think.

    Thanks so much for sharing this. Great collection. That is an awesome looking carry case. I wish they actually created a line of figures based off of the Rock N Wrestling cartoon series aside from the little eraser figurines. I remember seeing pics on a forum of some awesome looking statues of them made by a customizer.

    The toys we grew up with are far better than the ones they have now. But fear not they do still make lunch boxes with thermos. My son likes paw patrol and toys r us had them.

      The 80's Revolution Lmao oh great! Hopefully it's not to costly for you but the nostalgic reasons alone I get it. Btw the point you made with the figures being 8" and the mobile carrier only able to fit 6" figures even if it could hold few even.lol. Great point and kind of sad how they would rush to put stuff out to manipulate our thirst and passion for this Epic stuff!! RIP Randy Savage & Ms Elizabeth my favorite of all-time.Mr. Wonderful my other favorite heel wrestler of all-time

    Looks like case was made or better suited for bendies? RIP Piper Great video as always!

    • @TheNew80sRevolution
      @TheNew80sRevolution  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, some of the taller figures don't fit at all

    • @subzero8679
      @subzero8679 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I believe that case was meant for the bendies. It just says Wrestling Superstars on it, and the bendies were part of the Wrestling Superstars line. There's nothing written on the case that says it's for the 8 inch figures or for the bendies, but the 8 inch figures definitely don't fit well in it.

    Just give him your old wwf lunchbox,life is so short his memories of that would be with him a long time,it's just collecting dust down there man

      Alaskan556 wait....it’s been a long time since I made this. What does your comment mean?

  • @lexiandabbysdad
    @lexiandabbysdad 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I had that collecters case and yeah it was useless. Very few figures fit in it and it very rarely stayed latched shut even if you only had 1 figure in there clunking around but it is a great memory of my 80's childhood.

    I know what you mean about the only kid that age knowing that stuff. For my kids, it was music. My kids were probably the only ones who know the Beatles, Elvis, Monkees, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc.

    I have the complete set of topps wrestling trading cards complete with the original box and all the card wrappers. I actually put all them back in the wrappers but have no gum sticks to really make it legit lol. I have that MB wrestling board game and almost complete set of the bendies including the Hogan with blue knee pads which I think is rarer then the red knee pad version.

    • @TheNew80sRevolution
      @TheNew80sRevolution  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is rarer. So the story with that is two figures came with the bendie ring and cage. I guess they were random figures. I got Orndorf and Piper with mine. I guess the Hogan that came with the playset had blue knee pads for some reason

    How or where can you get the ljn figures today eBay? Outrageous though I've seen killer bees boxed $200 at comic book store that had tons of vintage toys

    • @tyson1fan487
      @tyson1fan487 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I find open ones all the time played with just like my old ones but in box ones I'd like to find just a few

      Pretty much your best bet is Ebay. 200.00 for a boxed Killer Bees set is an incredible deal

      Agreed. I don't usually like custom figures but someone did some amazing customs of the cartoon characters

      The 80's Revolution I found a video of a guy who made them out of modeling clay. They look amazing. Imagine if LGN ran a line of those in the rubber style back in the 80s?!

    • @subzero8679
      @subzero8679 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the Winston Toys WWF figure erasers were based on the Rock n Wrestling cartoons, but you couldn't really play with those. They would break very easily.
