I like your TH-cam compromise Lud. I will happily continue to pay for a TH-cam membership to use the TH-cam player for member only livestreams rather than twitch, the rewind feature is worth it.
Absolutely second this! The Twitch viewer experience is a total nope for me. Being an EU viewer I can't watch at the middle of the night but often start watching a few hours in and rewind to the start.
Thing about rewinding on TH-cam is it doesn't rewind the chat if the stream is ongoing, it still shows you the live chat. On Twitch you can go back on an ongoing stream (in the "recent broadcasts" section) and it syncs up the past chat.
