Carlo Biado showed more confidence than Chua on the first game when Biado told Chua that the 6 can be drawn instead of Chua using 2 rails. On rack 5, you can hear Biado telling Chua to play safe but Chua overplayed it for easy win for Europe. In the Philippines, when you listen to another player, it is a sign of respect. That’s why to me Biado is the best player in the Philippines at the moment. He controls the white ball better and has more creative shots than anyone in the Philippines.
I agree with you but Biado failed hard in this match. He was the reason why they lost because of his horrible mistake in Rack 4. That opened the comeback for Europe.
@@udtojanpestillos2094 True, and he also goofed last week in Vietnam missing many easy shots uncharacteristically that actually shocked the commentators. Ironically it was against Chua in semifinals.
Not sure if I can agree with you on this. Biado is the most successful player in the Philippines but Chua is undoubtedly the best player in all of Asia right now, not just the Philippines. Chua did fine overall in this match imo. He did take a few riskier shots but other than that I didn’t notice any glaring issues from his end. In fact, it was Biado who committed a critical positional error in game 4 that attributed to the loss. Besides winning rack 1 during the team events, Biado didn’t perform up to his standards at all today. I understand it is difficult for Biado fans to accept that Chua is on the rise and is gradually surpassing Biado, but there is no need to put all the blame on Chua in this fashion.
@@alternativehermit Respectfully, I’ve been watching Biado immaculately in the past 6 years. I really think you need to watch and assess the difference between the two how they play. Many pool afficionados outside the Philippines considered Biado the second best player ever from the Philippines. If I may add, he gives former world champion Ronnie Alcano 72-48 ‘partida’ on cash game playing rotation, and many other top players in the Philippines are avoiding him on cash games unless given an edge. Chua on other hand is an excellent player but he lacks mental toughness that Biado possesses, I’m sure he’ll get there somrday. And Biado had beaten more top players than Chua. I don’t expect you to agree as we all have our own observations. I’m also a big fan of Chua!
@@GiveDemocracyaChance Every player has a unique style and there is no one style that can define who is the “better” player. As a true pool fan one needs to assesses a player’s strengths and weaknesses objectively. I get that you think Biado plays smarter and is more tactically sound. However, this doesn’t make Chua’s or other players’ styles inferior. Also, what you said about Chua’s mental toughness was 100% valid previously, but that issue has mostly been overcome now with his lastest dominating wins in Shanghai and Hanoi. How many more titles does he have to win to prove to people he can handle the biggest stages lol? Also, Biado is older than Chua by quite many years so of course he has beaten more top players……his career is also longer…..this is not really that effective of a comparison. I strongly feel that at the end of their respective careers Chua will have more titles and success than Biado based on what I am seeing, but that is just my opinion. Biado and KPY are future Hall of Famers for sure, but Chua is the best player in Asia right now.

Yeah, I'm still learning all the different rule variations but 8 Ball is definitely the better game for competition. 9 Ball is great for casual fun games though.
I didn't think you could make flukes in 9 Ball. I thought you had to call a combination? Anyone know all the ins and outs of these rules in American pool variants?
Si Biado na ung may error tapos pagtitira si Chua papakialaman nya pa, nakakasira ng diskarte yan. Alam nmn ni chua gagawin dyn. Kung magtanong si chua saka sya magturo.
Is disgusting when you see "professional" players play a shot as Chua did at first rack trying 2~9 combo... It makes a game looks like rookie... As a drunk at bar....
