@@BLUESTRONGHOLD I was hoping for Rey to become Empress and Ben to fully become a Jedi again setting up an Episode X where after a decade in power, the Empress is defeated on Coruscant by Ben and the Resistance as her Dark Empire falls but before dying, Ben purges Palpatine from her, after blinding her, with the help of Anakin and Luke, dying in the process and Rey carrying on his legacy by using his custom lightsaber. Scary part would be the Empress using an ancient Sith sword instead of a lightsaber and she resembles the Son quite a bit. Also, imagine Ben's new lightsaber as a silver blade with a long hilt and he regularly snaps in half to dual wield and use it as a double-edged saber.
This is epic ! Would’ve loved to seen her take The throne and then take the series even further with her being the new emperess !! Absolutely guttered this didn’t happen :(
I would have liked to see her become an elected Empress and turn the new Empire to good. She could establish term limits for the Chief Executive (Emperor/Empress) and a smaller Senate which would be more capable of taking decisive action when required, as fewer delegates would mean less bureaucratic nonsense and more healthy debate leading to sound decisions. And the Senate would not elect the Emperor, the people would -- directly.

They really should have considered ending the movie having her take the throne only for X to be about how they restore order finally to the force and the galaxy. I would have loved a tenth final episode
