She looks fabulous. So what if she has had cosmetic procedures, she looks great and doesn’t look overdone at all. Anyone who thinks she has not worked really hard to get where she is, is dead wrong. It takes a tremendous amount of work, time and dedication to build an empire. She deserves to enjoy her success.
@Patti R and they retouch much younger celebrities and models as well. That's a given for ANY age! To hear 30 yr. old so focused on their wrinkles and getting toxic botox is insane!
Martha Stewart's late Mother really taught her well! Martha is such a fabulous person! Creative, gorgeous still, fun-loving and successful. Living her life to its fullest with panache.
I feel like there are always gonna be those people who are just not very productive at home and on zoom. But yes, it’s nice when people are very productive.
Love Martha, admire her greatly in all ways. I agree with her on the 3-day work week, that's just unrealistic. I'm all for a 4-day work week, though. Life is short, and we all need balance.
What does a three day work week look like? Do you work three days at 12 hours each day and you're off the next two days, work at home three days and in the office for two days? I'm curious.
I disagree depending on what your career field per say 🧐. I love teleworking after driving all over town for over 15 yrs...people are so distracted. I have distinguished 65 lbs, cooking more, exercising more during this "resetting" time 🤸💃
Good for Martha... poise, beauty, class and intelligence All in one and at Every age! She is such an icon and inspiration. But even better... she continues to support Working Class and getting to Work. This zoom nation is too much, we are losing touch with humanity, and we need to stop killing our culture. We need to get up, take care of ourselves, our home, our families, go to work a full day, come home and do home life, and thrive, achieve and use our brains, stop clicking a button for everything for God sakes. What did He give us life for? To turn into useless robots? She represents that very important gold standard meaning and purpose of useful life! She is a true gem of wisdom that has slowly faded from this country today. Raising kids to know nothing but a cell phone is a disservice to them! We need brilliant, driven entrepreneurs and stable minded achievers like she is for us to truly survive and thrive. She is the best!
So glad that she was just strong and doesn’t go with the whole impostor thing. People are expected to be modest and lack confidence. She is strong, successful and kind. Great role model.

Plastic surgery helps to look younger, so long as it’s done well. Martha has a shed load of people doing work in her name. If she did it all herself she would want a 3 day week!
Ahhhh Martha from the first PBS Thanksgiving dinner, the book Entertaining I’ve so much admiration. A mentor of mine that I’ve learned so much. Thanks MS. I’m the crazy woman who has asked (many times) about your Thanksgiving dinnerware on that PBS Special.
As a Uber driver, instacart shopper and partime Hr represendive. I agree with Martha that less productivity might cause skills and competencies maximum potential which increases company's resourcing costs.
As someone who knows an employee of Martha's... she obviously doesn't manage her large farm alone (would be impossible) nor the 5 houses which are on her property, but she has always lived alone. Her staff arrive every morning between 7-8am, but they go home at the end of the day, nobody lives with her.
She's confusing a 3-day work week with 3 days in office/week. We are more productive with a hybrid work week and studies have shown it. I save 3 hrs a day working from home, getting ready and commuting. My employer gets those hours back in terms of my productivity.
One problem with remote work is that when it comes time for promotions the people who are in office interacting with mgmt are more likely to get promoted.
Why does everyone think she looks like this in real life. Everybody on a magazine does not look like the in real life. Nobody seems to be addressing that fact.
If I couldn't go into the office I would be traumatised by not dressing up and socialising with colleagues. I am sick if sitting around in my tracks dakkies.
Part of working is interacting with your co-workers. I wonder when I hear these people say they hate their co-workers, maybe these people should take a look in the mirror. I don't know how anybody would want to spend their entire life inside their home/apt. I would go nuts after a few months. I like meeting co-workers and having lunch together, or meeting after work and going to the theater. I don't have any desire to crawl around in my PJ's the entire day. I would wager that a lot of these people are going to feel that way after they've been crawling around the house 12 months out of the year. Gads.
LOL....They asked her what you would use all baskets for and she said "serving iced coffees to the people cutting your grass"!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yes because doesn't everyone do that, and every grass cutter prefer that??? Rich people problems.....
I agree with Martha on how remote work could destroy America. If I am the owner of the company and want to maximize profits why hire a US worker who is remote when I can get great talent from China, India or other parts of Asia or use AI instead.
Why was my comment taken down I am trying to tell her that her Crueset ad is being used for bad purposes. I dont think she is aware. Please have her contact me. Thank you.
Obviously, your not an Employer. People need to get back to the office. There is no substitute for training, learning, and collaboration with others. If you want to work remote….go do it. However don’t complain about employers that want there employees in the office.
@@b.l.8611 The comment wasn’t complaining about employers that want employees in office. “Substitute training” can be done via zoom which most companies have already adopted and still utilize in office. Consensus say that employees that work from home are happier.
I think she means successful living as being healthy and making good financial choices that have helped her be successful and live well in her 80s. Way too much focus on appearance.
Of course it is not all she meant. I think I might like a mild eye lift myself! It wouldn't make me more successful as I understand success. Just glad.
I think she misunderstood the question. “Certainly not an imposter” no Martha she meant imposter syndrome. Many successful people have struggled with this. It in no way means you are an imposter. The people who suffer from this 100% earned there place but yet still may struggle with feeling like a imposter.
I love Martha, but she’s wrong about working from home. It’s not black and white. Everyone works differently. I’ve been working from home for the last 7 years, long before the pandemic ever happened, and I am so much more productive and efficient at home than I ever was in the office. Personally, the time I lost in traffic and chitchatting with coworkers over coffee made me much less productive than I am at home. I get twice as much done in half the time, because I haven’t no distractions and can focus. I’m an introvert, so maybe it’s just easier for me. I can see how extroverted people might have an issue. But on top of that, my observation is at people that work from home are happier, and that’s also really important. They have more time for themselves, and their family, especially if they’re women with small children. The flexibility working from home and gives you a better quality of life, and that will make your job more enjoyable, regardless of what type of job it is - that’s my observation. And I do believe it’s hear to stay. Not to mention lowers the business overhead. Win-win!

Love zoom, saves so much time on driving, spend time w family, home life, and u can keep up without exhausting yourself.
