I recently acquired this exact model. It's an absolute stunner. At first the silk grey dial seems a little bland, but in person, it looks premium. Agree it ticks all the boxes. And the fact that it's such a great value makes it even better.
@@jonchurchill76 It truly is one of those dials that needs to be worn to be appreciated. It looks so premium and classic in different lighting and stands out in a good way when worn with a suit. It has become my defacto dress piece.
This is great to see what you chose, well done!! got my Hitman last month and can't stop wearing it!!! unbelievable quality vs price--- I'm sold! and will buy again! Love your choice!
An excellent and informative video, thank you. I recently purchased their Flyboy with the green dial and Arabic numerals for $660 delivered to my door. I chose this watch over 13 other aviation theme watches and am very happy I did.
100% you made the right choice. Sure you can spend a lot more and get a marginally better watch but why. I've had the watch almost 3 months now and honestly it only keeps looking better to me each time I wear it. It still shocks me how well finished it is for the money. The closest high luxury design in appearance would be an Omega Seamaster. Sure the Movement is significantly better but so what. On wrist they both look exceptional.
Being half Thai myself, I've been highly interested in Wise watches. I'm particularly interested in their damacus cases and that gold filled dial they released not long ago. There are two other Thai brands from what I've seen, Simpl and A-rtisan. Haven't been able to verify their legitimacy as Thai watchmakers, but, Wise definitely appears to be easily the best of the three.
The 15th anniversary gold faced watch is beautiful. I almost bought it. Amy wanted me to buy it. I decided against it because I know I wouldn't wear it all that often and the legibility of that dial isn't great. I'm a bit of a purist that way. Legibility really matters to me. There are a few watches that I've seen that are gorgeous but practically impossible to tell the time with. I appreciate them but will never own one.
@WhyWeBuyIt I can understand that. For me, watch collecting started as an extension of my fashion sense. I like to have my watches coordinated with my outfits. My demands in terms of design vary depending on the type of watch and how I plan to wear it. On a pilot or field watch legibility is a high priority along with high contrast between the hands and indices, hands and the dial and a case that has minimal glare. On a diver, I want a solid, confidence inspiring case, good lume and a great feeling bezel action. On a dress watch, just needs to be well build and beautiful to me.
@@LegendX2010 We see things the same way. Of course there are crossover pieces that look like a specific archetype but are something else really.
