one of the best, up close and personal, in your face sermons on what actually went down on that day in the Old Testament on Mt Carmel!! How can you even consider not worshiping Our Most Holy God!!?? KNOW HE IS GOD FOR THE AGES and ETERNITY!! Excellent sermon with the fevered pitch of finally seeing Our God in action! Thank you, Pastor, great job!! Great message!

Great sermon and message! Im guilty of mixing the lines of idolatry and thinking I “need” something material.

Hallelujah. God bless you. Idolatry-heart. The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. Holy ghost sermon.

I love the story in 1st Kings 18. Yahweh and Elijah establish a clear way to test gods. If a god (Baal) can’t summon fire or show it’s power when called upon, then slaughter it’s prophets. It also establishes this as a fair test for Yahweh.
Any takers? Should I sling the same insults as Elijah? “Is Yahweh asleep? Speak louder!” As no fire is summoned.
