I prefer this sequel as well. I think most people have these two movies as equal. However i have a coworker who hates the sequel. Doesnt make any sense to me since both movies follow the same exact beats. And it just works.

They are both so funny. Reminds me of the ""Laurel & Hardy: old comedy films. Hard to say with is better. So other funny comedy series are the ""Pink Panther" movie series. Check out Pink Panter '63, Shot in the Dark '64, then it progresses into sequels to the 70's all with Peter Sellers are great! TH-cam and it's comments. Who knows? They are idiots!
The 2nd movie doesn't stand on its own the way the 1st movie does. As a sequel it's ok. More of the same stuff that made people like the original. It's definitely goofier and more childish.
This is basically the same plot, jokes, gags, stunts etc as the first one..except the traps are way more violent. I think maybe it WAS your illness that hindered your enjoyment of the first movie.
They should do an episode of '1000 Ways to Die' on these movies. That'd actually be entertaining as hell... unlike the rest of the Home Alone franchise. *Do Not* watch them. You'll never get that time back.

I’m from New York so I do enjoy the scenes there but I don’t like the Pigeon lady and the brick to head scenes are too much for me, i usually turn away during that part
