I LOVE Tae's vocals, his acting, and the MV creativity. Everything was outstanding. I really hope he pursues more acting projects. The lyrics are clear cut about wanting to advance a longtime friendship to becoming a romantic relationship. However, the MV has so many possible interpretations including how toxic fans react when their favorite idol dates compared to if they believe the idol is single. I love how Tae's songs and MVs are always profound and thought provoking. As you guys said, it's deep.

Not only have all seven members signed yet another contract as a group, they have all said *repeatedly* in interviews, livestreams, concerts, that they have every intention of coming back together as a group. They have even said one thing they’ll do when they come back is a ten year anniversary of the “HYYH” (The Most Beautiful Moment in Life) era, AND they can’t wait to have concerts again.
Also, RM, Jimin, Tae, and JK all enlisted within a day of each other last December. RM/Tae were at the same base, different units, and Jimin/JK enlisted under the buddy system and are at the same base, same unit.

If you read the lyrics, he is talking about having a really good friend that has been around for years and been there for him through his hard times but then they have feelings for each other and so they try dating but if it doesnt work out then you have lost your close friend. Cause if you break up you cant go back to that friendship even if you try it will never be the same again. The first part of the video shows people in love but then when he is hit by a car that is him deciding to take the plunge and be with her, but then the background shows people fighting to signify a breakup so when he gets hit for the second time that signifies the end of the relationship and having the two of him at the end just shows that at the end of the day you will only have yourself
