GREAT video!!!! I truly appreciate it. I was in the studio business almost 30 years and miss it terribly. I understand how important the past shaped my recording career since I had my first drum kit
I love this! It reminds me of Deuteronomy when, before Moses passes, he keeps reminding his fellow Hebrews to remember, do not forget what The Lord brought you out of. Essentially, that’s what you’re doing, and it’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing this amazing personal moment with us! ❤
What an amazing idea. The reverb with everyone thinking about why they music. Even if that didn't work, just to have that moment recorded - and with the great reaction of the band behind you to boot. Ive said it before but I really appreciate your appreciation for things and people. I like to think of myself as someone who search for the awe in everyday things and experiences. and I hope to have the vision (and courage!) to ask to try something like this when my world changes. fingers crossed I stop giving talks about my first passion (believe it or not, wastewater treatment/infrastructure) and start with my second, making and recording music with others.
Jeremy, I’ve watched many of your videos and I have to say this was the best ever. Many people who receive awards become pompous. But the right ones to award are those who receive an award which motivates them, which humbles them and allows us to see more of who they are. Congratulations on your recognition, it is well deserved.
Wonderful video, thanks for sharing those special moments, spaces, feelings, experience. This not only works for sound and music, but for life. ... Gracias amigo y saludos desde México! 😃👋
I get the nostalgia. And I get singing in choir (I miss it...). I appreciate what you put in to this one! But I am curious to know more about the process of capture of these reverbs. I get the broad outline, but it feels like I am missing some important step.
Very nice and emotional Video and congratulations !! Just a quick question : why didn't you captured these IR at ear level that might have been more what you really experienced when in these rooms ? And what program do you use these IRs with. Bests, Vincent.

I really enjoyed this video on several levels. Got me thinking about some stuff
Great video, great speech, so encouraging and uplifting
Absolutely loved this video. It just shows your dedication to your craft. So inspiring. Thanks for speaking!
Also I’d love to get those reverbs! As a student there I’ve shared the shame desire to replicate those sounds.
