I remember Danny Smith used to come to Australia and race at Premier Speedway in Warrnambool, home of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic. He always had great battles with Garry Rush, Max Dumsney and Brett Lacey.
The size of that starting field. Over 70 cars attempted to qualify. Compare that to today where most of the time you can make the main event just by showing up. That flag stand is the tallest one I've ever seen.

So many great PA Posse boys made the show for this race!!! The true golden age of sprint car racing in the northeast.
Things are pretty good now too. Brent marks won the kings royal this year, Macri and Dewease won WoO features as well
