We, Koda & I, send our thanks to you both for brightening up a sucky Thursday, but then you, Sherpa, Jody, and K'eyush always manage that nicely. I had to take Koda in for his second round of puppy shots yesterday & he's been somewhat out of sorts today, but the vet told me beforehand how he'd be for a day or so after the shots. The drag is that it was beautiful today & I'd hoped to go for a nice putt up in the mountains & perhaps let Koda play in what snow still remains. I know he was wanting to go as well as he dragged some of his items out into the garage to put in "his" sidecar, but then he just crawled in & crashed out for a good part of the day, so I know he wasn't feeling all that perky. Stay safe & healthy you two.........

Yes, thank you for that. I have a large dog too, one pancake is barely feels his mouth. I used to give him 3-4 pancakes when I make them. It really nothing happens except that his is in 7th heaven.
A little help goes a long way! When using the pancake mix you did, turn the bottle over & tap it on the counter to break up the powder (tapping the bottom compacts it more). Don't use as much water (should be a bit thicker than what you had. Yours was more like crepe batter.). After putting your oil in the pan, give it a few seconds to heat up. Pour the batter into the center of the pan until you have about a 3" pancake. Watch as bubbles form on the pancake. When the bubbles pop, flip the pancake (with a plastic spatula if using nonstick!) and cook for another 2 or 3 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to plate & let cool (if for the furbaby). As an added treat, spread a little peanut butter on the pancake for him! Buon apetite!
I was laughing while you were making your very first pancake. I was 9 or 10 years old when I made my very first pancakes and my pancakes didn't turn out the way yours turned out. They came out nice and fluffy. I always use the boxed pancake mix. To this day after many decades I've never made pancakes the way yours came out. LOL!!
