Love these type of swing rides! The drop in your stomach as you go down is such a crazy feeling, but whenever you're flying forward it's quite calming cause there's a few seconds of calm and slowness, and all you can see is the sky.

Lol, this ride is so scary, yet so fun. I go to a school near Glenwood and my school goes on a yearly trip here. My friends and I are so used to this that we play Rock Paper Scissors on it. We even filmed a mini music video on it. It’s so fun!

In taking another view, I had to chuckle, when I saw your Mate's legs responding in the same fashion, as one would, in attempting to get their swing to rise higher. Additionally, I noticed the ride in action, above ya'll, with the individual swings. Admittedly, that ride would frighten me to an overwhelming degree. Particularly after watching a video on Amusement Park Disasters, which indeed brought to the forefront in my mind, the incident in which one swing, exactly liken to the ride above, completely disengaged, clean off, from the ride's structure. The swing and victim flying thru the air, to it's unfortunate conclusion. I can only imagine the extraordinary view from that vantage point, far exceeding the ride you were on. Believe me, it is not to say your view wasn't beautiful in the least. You Mates were plenty high.
I've been on this multiple and contrary to what you might think, being in the outside seats is so much less scary than being on the inside! With the outside seats yeah you're going over a ton of open space, but when your on the inside seats coming back down you feel like you're going to smash into the canyon wall....so it's pretty fun! 😂
I have riden it. Rode it with my husband only because their wasnt a line to wait in and it is terrifying but so fun and i am glad i didnt let my fears hold me back. Rode the big swing at silver dollar city and this is white nuckle scary but worth the ride.
Oh yeah. Not on your life would i get on this thing swinging out over a canyon drop. We had planned a trip to Glenwood Springs for the rides but they have had TOO MANY problems. Read up folks!
King Wacky The company (S&S Worldwide) uses air compression systems on most of there attractions and launched roller coasters. It's just the noise of air being transferred as the ride is in motion. 100% safe though

I stay 500-1000 miles AWAY from this kind of ride. I can't handle heights and just watching this I was screaming like a terrified little girl and I'm a guy!
Many of the mountain resorts require a waiver signed...a bit over the top to be honest, but I guess it reduces the cost of their insurance so it results in lower prices.

I've come to notice that the more dangerous rides become the more I want to actually give them a shot. as scared as I am of heights I'd be actually willing to try this! Not sure about the noise that rides making though lol

But if you're on the side that faces away from the canyon, you just look at the air. So does that spot cost less? Cuz it sure is less of a thrill to look at the air then down a giant cliff.

If there was a version of that near me that's NOT over the edge of a ginormous canyon, sure, I'd ride it.
There are plenty of parks with this type of ride, but this is the only one on the edge of a 1300ft canyon!
