1h15m of dying the exact same way would have ME PERSONALLY so much more wary of they one piece that keeps doing to me but hey.. i remember i had to tell myself to not care about his fuckups in inscryption

Honestly, the thing that was killing me was when he thought the edge of the board was the sides. Could have sniped from the back line and just finished the round off.
That and don't shoot the piece between you and the queen...
A discovered check is when the movement of a piece reveals a check from a second piece, Cartoonz has discovered that this is a pain in the ass

It just dawned on me, after a year or two of watching, I learned Toonz' greatest flaw. Super Fast Tunnel Vision. If he's playing a repetitive motion over and over he gets faster and faster, but he becomes blind to so much more and more the faster he goes to the point he is compelled to act in the moment.

24:42 this game almost has the rules of chess correct. However, in chess a king can’t put himself in check as the ai did here… oh yeah and that whole thing with the shotgun
You also realsie that the white king cant be in check because the black king is unable to take a peice from that position, so it is a legal move
White pieces can’t be in check, our boy brought a shotgun instead 👌
The Black king can't attack in a 3 by 3 area so It's a legal move.
Should have been spamming the pawn soul with all the pawns since he got an extra turn from using it could have mowed through them getting souls each kill.

Toonz. A helpful tip for bishops. They can’t change the color square they’re on. I saw a lot of unnecessary killing of bishops when they could never even put you in check if they wanted to
While bishops cannot put you in check if you are not on your same square, they can put you in check mate in combination with other pieces. In my opinion bishops are one of the worst pieces to leave alive.
In this game they do change colours

I dont feel comfortable when a game gives toonz a viable weapon
How the pieces work and how they move:
Pawn: Your average piece. In normal chess, they can move 2 spaces only once and if they haven't been moved. They can only capture pieces diagnally. Also, they can not move backwards (weird but whatevs)
Knight/Horse: Moves in an L shape in any direction. Think of it as "move two spaces, then turn."
Rook: Can only move in straight lines in any direction. They're the corner stones. (by far the most useless piece imo)
Bishop: They're the opposite of the rook, being that they can travel diagonally, and only diagonally in any direction.
Queen: She can move diagonally and forwards in any direction.
King: This is the piece you want to protect the most. They can only move in one space in any direction, and can swap places with either rook if the bishop is not blocking them.
I just love how much Toonz knows about the rules of chess.

@@revanhaq247 Well 2 months in technically "months". However when you consider that among us then goose goose duck made up 60 to 70 percent of his content for two years. In the scheme of things two months isn't really that long, even the 5 months for the videos before that is not long enough in my opinion.
@@nyxionn while i agree that some variety would've been better, each and every one of those videos are still great. I personally dont care that much about among us but the commentary makes it fun to watch. Not to mention that at that time, that type of content was blowing up so you really can't fault the man for trying to make some bread by jumping on the bandwagon.

This game looks awesome, though i feel like you could have utilized that moat a little more in that last run. Just stayed on your side of it and no one but knights could go through it easily and you could just blast away anyone that got stuck in it. but that was good man, i love that you f*cking stabbed the king to death at the end there. Poetic.
You kill the king and it takes so long for the 20+ pawns to individually explode.
Not to mention the 20+ flashbangs accompanying their deaths 😂

If you're going to blast every piece off the board, use more soul cards. They don't stack so will be replaced with every non pawn you kill

When you said idc if it takes me 6 hrs to beat this level I was like wait a sec how long is this video 😅 and I watched it while I was studying so it was perfect I always get bummed when I have to wait for another toonz vid and idk if you've played hellcard(co-op 3ppl) or book of demons(solo) it's a roguelike game too and I had a blast playing it so addictive as well

idk about you guys but im imagining a scope , edge damage and royal decree card would be enough to break the game, get on the edge of the board, aim in, fire all shots at once, and all you'd need is a line of sight on the king and a couple extra shot cards
