    So I guess all those bureaucrats will be giving up their limousines, right?

    • @jaroslavpors6559
      @jaroslavpors6559 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well… They will buy electro limousines and tell you that they are very ecologic, which is simply not tru because it is never only about using the cars but also about production and destruction of them… This is just ideology of activists, because no scientist will agree with the plan to go from 10 % to 0 % of emissions if the biggest productors wont do anything. And border taxing them will only give us more money not save the planet…

      It's a scam!
      They stop burning coal.
      And start burning wood.
      Wood burning pollution is much higher.
      Gas is the cleanest burning feul.
      In The Netherlands we heat our house's with gas.
      The eu bannes gas heating.
      And introduces electricity from woodburning to warm your house.
      EU made a law that wood burning is climate neutral and is cleaner than fossil feuls!
      The stupidity reaches madness...!!!
      The plans that they have rolled out. Result in peoples houses are not warm any more. A heat pump doesn't warm your house.
      Governments give electrical heatings system to them in the winter. But when a building starts using it the power goes down because of overload.
      Result
      No Warmth, No Electricity and its freezing -15 Celsius.
      The stupidity reaches madness!!!

    Are all those wind blades recyclable??? Where do you bury them when Seabirds and storms break them? Are solar panels carcinogenic after 20 years? Recyclable??? sounds like a great money maker taxing the people for false solutions that clearly are not green!!!

    The goal is simple. The European Union has understood three things. The enormous debt that the United States is contracting by extracting its own oil with very expensive techniques such as fracking, to consume only US oil, the instability of territories (Arabs, Russia, etc.) in the face of oil businesses and dependence on polluting energies in developing countries (like China or India). What the EU intends is to create a source of clean and cheap energy (in production, not investment) to save costs both in industry and in the use of machinery (vehicles, factories, and other things) and thus have zero energy dependence on other countries. In my (positive) opinion this can create an industrial revolution in the short term that can make Europe a huge world power. Of course, given the panorama, the first enemy we are going to have is the United States, since they do not want a plan of such magnitude, and Donald Trump knows it ...the future is not petrol, and almost all the world nations depends on it so in my point of view is very clever to be the first ones going towards in a new direction acording to the production of energies

      @minageorgakopoulou7670 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not trying to be combative, just curious, because I thought fracking is an efficient method that has made US almost independent in energy. Biden's plan to ban fracking (eg Keystone pipeline cancellation) costs jobs and money, but also the environment, as it is more expensive and environmentally unfriendly to import energy. I'm not an expert though, so I'm only asking.

      @@eggbirdtherooster There are also other sources of energy such as hydropower, and nuclear fission reactors. There's also a lot of research going into nuclear fusion which if figured out then we will never have problems with energy again (since it would be able to generate 4x the amount of energy as nuclear fission). There also isn't much of a need for cars if you have good public transit, pedestrian-friendly cities, and bike-friendly.

      But its not so there is no point in decreasing our emissions from 10 to 0 % in such a dead line and killing our economical growth. If the rest od the world proucing 90 % of emissions wont do anything we cant do anything as well, because doing anything will decrease our market competitiveness which is firstly unfair and secondly and mainly can be also destructive.

    By counting the total CO2 emissions historically, we see that USA, EU and China are responsible for 25%,22% and 13% of global emissions accordingly. There is no reason to blame developing countries for their emissions, as they are right now doing, what we have already done. It is a shared resposibility among developed countries to invest in a greener future. We have the resources, highly educated workforces and the technology to develop low-cost, low-carbon solutions and spread them around the world. In this way poor countries won't become as fossil fuel dependent as we were and still are right now. As low-carbon technology becomes cheaper and more available, developing countries will get their fair share of development in a green way, not in the way we got it.. If the developed countries decide to seriously tackle climate change, the rest of the world will follow because they will have no other better choise..

    • @Iknowbetterthanyou
      @Iknowbetterthanyou 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sure they have a better choice: keep the system running. Why should they stopt? If Europe stops consuming oil and gas, guess who will have it for longer? Yup, the ones that did not transition. Developing countries will prosper while the EU will regress for a high price: Huge inflation due to substition for the industries, following by the destruction of the middle class and to round things up, mass immigration will slowly but surely destroy indigenous population and with that, all their values and accomplishments. In a way this is a genius plan, make it everyone equal, the big socialist experiment.
