Wow amazing 😍 2 years ago like these set up.. but now Elephant Village Sanctuary Resort no more riding at all. Starting December 1, 2019.. walking 30min together with Elephant..ect.. stay more with elephants..
Be careful of what is called a "Sanctuary." The tourism industry throws that word around a lot in relation to elephants, for places that are Not sanctuary, places that use Bullhooks, that chain the elephants, that abuse those elephants behind the scenes. Do not fall for marketing. Read LOTS of reviews. Deeply inform yourself before you give your money or your presence to any place that has elephants.
Not good. To make elephants tolerate riders, or to work elephants in any way, baby-elephants are forced through Phajaan/Crush/Torture Training, which is severe brutality 24/7 for a week and more, no sleep allowed, no water, no food, but constant violence, cruelty, beaten with rods, knives, beaten severely to the point that it kills up to half of all captive elephant calves. No, it's NOT good. The elephant that was ridden in this video was forced through Phajaan/Crush/Torture Training.
Great? For an elephant to tolerate being ridden, they are first forced through Phajaan/Crush/Torture Training as babies, which is severe brutality, extreme violence, 24/7 for a week and more, allowing no sleep, no water or food, but is constant torture, so much so that it kills up to half of all captive elephant calves. Every elephant ridden has been forced through that. Elephants are tortured daily, and it kills them. Elephants are endangered and will soon be extinct unless the violence stops. No, Lee, it's NOT great. Do not support any place that works elephants in any way, because when you support those places with your money or your presence, you are supporting torture and the killing of elephants. Learn about the plight of elephants and ethical treatment for them. I have 3 elephant playlists on my channel where you can learn.
Do you know what baby-elephants are forced through to tolerate being ridden? Have you heard of Phajaan/Crush/Torture Training? Do you know that baby-elephants are tortured 24/7 for a week and more, with no sleep allowed, no water, no food, beaten and stabbed repeatedly round the clock to crush their spirit, to destroy their Will, until they give up. Do you know that Phajaan/Crush/Torture Training kills up to half of all captive elephant calves? Please educate yourself, you can learn more by availing yourself to my Elephant Nature Park playlist,th-cam.com/play/PLFEITHFwj_JVq2kFWMIIR3IsZubQtBgA6.html Do you know that both Asian elephants and African elephants are endangered? That they will soon be EXTINCT unless Man's violence against them stops? To allow a rider, the elephant in this video was forced through Phajaan/Crush/Torture Training. It is standard and forced on ALL captive, working elephant babes, and the deadly Bullhook (sharp, pointed steel hook with a long handle) is the chief implement of torture and abuse against elephants. Working elephants are abused DAILY, and then chained when they aren't working, typically on concrete which destroys their feet, which then disables them and causes premature death. Regardless of the kind of work they are forced to do, whether that is logging work, carrying riders, performing work like tricks or circuses, painting, or showing them at a zoo, all captive elephants in the world have been forced through the brutality of Phajaan. Every time an elephant is sold, it is done to them again. It is done to bull elephants every few years to underscore that they must obey Man. Elephants die every day because of Man's brutality against them. They are blinded with knives and slingshots, they are tortured beyond imagination. Captivity to an elephant means TORTURE and Early Death, and for the Earth, it means the extinction of the rain forests' Keystone species. What a Keystone species is and how it serves the Earth and why, is explained in my playlist-description at my Elephant Nature Park playlist, linked in this comment. Every time a person supports a place that works elephants in any way, they are supporting torture of elephants, cruelty, brutality, heinous violence. Do NOT support these places with either your money or your presence.
Any elephant riding is bad bad bad, please don't, if you want to help the elephant go to elephant nature park thailand, elephant news (youtube) see the rescued elephants having fun and been free. Like they are meant to be. This is not a sanctuary.
@@zaradragonia9863 The are alot of places that call themselves "Sanctuaries" but they are not, you just need to do alot of research.
