Just to let FortNine know, I try to specifically buy from them because of the excellent videos Ryan does and the freedom you give him. Also it seems like the things you tend to sell are higher quality and not crap. I also watch the Missenden Flyer (great idea creating this interview).
All his videos are good, but his bias against cruiser style bikes came through. I prefer MotoGeo when it comes to enthusiasm for riding. A former racer, but still gets the appeal of different bikes for different purposes. Every bike is fun when ridden in its element, and challenging when ridden outside of its element. A ZX10R is fun on a race track, overkill on public roads, and downright miserable on a 500 mile a day two week tour. A Harley touring bike is fun on a tour, perfect for public roads, and risky for all but the most skilled riders on a track. Google CVO on a race track for the video and article.

Ryan prefers dual sports, something he has never shied away from, but I have never found him to be biased against any type of bike.
FortNine Ryan I think you know that to a non insubstantial community you are a big deal. You were extremely nice as a good Canadian should be. The channel makes some phenomenal content and is consistently my first stop for reviews and amusing content.
As soon as Ryan said "Centrifugal 'so called' force" I knew he had to have a physics background. Only someone who has a solid background in that subject would answer that way - since there really is no such thing as a true centrifugal force. Such a cool dude. And great interview TMF!

I understood the "Fortnine" name from the start, I must be a nerd 😂 Ryan is the best, we did a massive group ride back when he was in Québec. I was the only one on a Honda MSX-125/Grom 🤪. Prob the loudest bike ever in the group 😂 If you live in Canada, the only place to buy you gear and stuff is at Fortnine. Fantastic service and prices. Keep up the good work both of you 👍
Another great vid TMF! Enjoying lockdown way more as finally get to watch all your vids! Keep up the great work and great to hear more about Ryan's biking history.
Hi to both of you, I just wanted to say a quick thank you for putting this together. Best interview I've seen in a long old time, and an absolute pleasure to watch the pair of you talking bikes and filming etc. Looking forward to seeing both of your upcoming content. Cheers, Ade.
Awesome interview. Loved it immensely. Victoria, BC (Vancouver Island) here and I'm also insured year round. Thanks for everything you both give to the community. Cheers!
Hey my two favourite motorbike channels in one video! Good interview so far Andy, I'm not done yet. Also for a bit of context/info the vast majority of Canada has so much snow over the winter the bikes are usually packed up from November to April.
I know a fellow in Longueuil who year-rounds on an old GoldWing. Darkside with the snowflake symbol, so cops never know what to make of it. Most inspiring motorcyclist I ever met. ~RF9
Oh my Andy, I have a similar path to riding as Ryan, including the bike. Grew up in a house with always 2-3 bikes in the shed, but never gave a thought to getting on the back. Fast forward to about to get my drivers license at 16, when I get this idea that riding a motorcycle might be fun. So my step dad catches me sitting on what was my mom’s bike, a 1973 Honda CL200. Also available to me once I had some experience was a 1973 CB360 and a 1968 BMW R69S. So I asked if he thought I could get my motorcycle license. So pass my auto test, go back to take the written motorcycle test, when good old mom asks “just who’s motorcycle do you think you’re going to ride?” Well, dad says I can ride yours. That was a hell of a conversation. She hardly ever rode it anyway. So, once spring hit my step-dad drove the bike to our local technical school parking lot, I follow along in the car. Showed me the basics, and off I went. Couple weeks of parking lot practice and I was off! So I literally have never been a passenger on a motorcycle. Well that was back in 1974, and I caught some guff being a girl on a motorcycle, whatever. I’ll keep doing it as long as I can! Two wheels forever!
GREAT SHOUT!!! The production for the BMW F800gs review is out of this world, sorry Andy but it’s the best review of a motorcycle anywhere on the web. BMW should be paying Fortnine for that review!! It’s outstanding!!
Just caught this after coming from the fortnine Harley vid. All their videos are so well researched. Between them, yourself and 44teeth we really are spoilt for quality content. None of which is on main stream media! To think my parents said I needed to go outside more and not play on my computer those years ago 😂😂
Great video Andy. Ryan’s F9 Channel is of the highest quality but it is his explanation of some of the basic physics / details and bringing together a simple explanation that makes things easy to understand and the storytelling that marks him apart. A very smart but humble individual (like yourself). My appreciation of Ryan has risen following the interview.
Couldn't agree more - a very sharp cookie for a fella in his twenties....all power to him, I'm sure he'll go far....and as you say, a lovely chap to boot, which always helps in life I find....was a pleasure talking to him.
I really appreciate this video and the honesty of you both! Had to watch this in 3 parts but really enjoyed it. Just like F9's content, was a treat to watch! Thanks Andy and Ryan,
Great interview, Ryan's channel is excellent Someone needs to interview Andy TMF , lots of questions on the other side of the slate ! Step up and get it sorted , Lamb Chops , Spicy110 , Henry Cole, Ewan McGregor !!!!! Best regards Shaun .
Thanks TMF for this interview. I am a subscriber to both channels and enjoy the different styles. A lot of great questions and some surprising answers. Thanks again.
Brilliant! Thank you both for the effort you put into your channels. The content is very useful for me - I learn something new with each video. And, your creativity makes viewing very enjoyable. Ryan, if you are interested, my favorites are: #2- the S-10 and #1 -the Vitpilen 701. This from an engineer who’s personal taste is usually two standard-deviations from the mean, and wishes he had one-tenth of your creativity. Hope you both have the time and resources to continue to provide your wonderful content far into the future.
Wow! That was great, what a treat. Been a sub to Ryan for a very long time. Really knowledgable guy and always does very professional, creative, informative video's. Well done Andy for pulling that off.
Keyless ignition is brilliant. I can forget that I lost my keys in my pocket and avoid that panicked 30 minutes I spend faffing about looking for them. I just get on and ride. Great interview. Thanks Ryan and TMF!
When I saw the length of this video I thought I no way I could watch it in one sitting......boy was I wrong. Came across Ryan's channel a couple of years ago, and as some of your subscribers mentioned, their production quality really stood out. Yet another fine video, looking forward to your next one.
Good to know that you are not only a very good rider but you also have good taste in Motorcycle content. You, Slaty and FortNine are actually my favourite providers of Motorcycle content out there.
Another fine interview, great job TMF! Ive been watching Ryan's channel foe several years, always quality stuff with some great production values. He's quite an articulate young man! It's good to see someone in their 20's doing motorcycle videos.
Brilliant interview! Been waiting for something like this for some time! It was really cool to get the deeper story on the both of you! Totally down for these super long videos :)
Literally came across FortNine a couple weeks ago and binge watched almost every episode since. Ryan kinda reminds me of Marques Brownlee from MKBHD, great content and production but it's really nice to see people stay down to earth and remain approachable, one love to all.
Great video. I think that whatever the production values, viewers engage with the personality of the vlogger. It is the vlogger’s honesty and passion for the subject which make!videos entertaining. All of this applies to your videos - and by the way your production values work fine for me!
Ryan's video on the Motorcyclist's Superpower, invisibility - probably one of the best and most helpful videos ever made, and should be a must see for all riders.
Been a follower of RF9 (and loyal Canada's Motorcycle / Fortnine client) for years. Was tickled when I saw a video filmed in a lane near your shop / studio and it occurred to me, that my neighbourhood! I'm going to run into you in North Van eventually Ryan. Happy to hear even a seasoned rider like you prefers tiny on an adventure - got tired of lifting my CRF1000 AT so it's now relegated to highway and forest service roads - and an XT250 for the gnarly stuff! Thanks for the interview, loved it all.
I discovered Ryan F9 the day before your video Andy TMF, how did I not notice him before? He speaks sense with style and good humour, I've been binging since watching your interview!
Just found you with your Itchy Boots interview. (Loved it and cant wait to see her next season and new bike. ) So, then I found your Ryan FortNine (Great TH-cam channel. New subscriber and enjoying your interviews. Thanks, Rob, Virginia, USA
I’ve watched Ryan’s videos for years and his content is truly on another level. Every episode is a masterpiece and well put together. I can’t be the only one who watches his videos more than once. For some reason it’s strange to hear someone ask if Niagara falls is in Quebec

It just so happens that i was watching both your channel for 4 years now, i’m a newby at my 3rd year rider, keep up the great work, thanks from Montreal! Waiting on you review on my new dream Tiger 900 Rally Pro from my Street Triple R 2013, I’ll be here!
I understood the "Fortnine" name from the start, I must be a nerd 😂
Ryan is the best, we did a massive group ride back when he was in Québec. I was the only one on a Honda MSX-125/Grom 🤪. Prob the loudest bike ever in the group 😂
If you live in Canada, the only place to buy you gear and stuff is at Fortnine. Fantastic service and prices.
Keep up the good work both of you 👍
Hey buddy! The roar of that Grom is still ringing in my ears. Nice to hear from you again :) ~RF9
@@FortNine if you ever come back to Montréal, dont forget to plan a group ride 😉
Keep up the great work and great customer service
Another great vid TMF! Enjoying lockdown way more as finally get to watch all your vids! Keep up the great work and great to hear more about Ryan's biking history.
Thanks, will do!
We need Aneesh and Ryan as video production is amazing. We need the entire team.
They deserve half the credit at least
Hi to both of you, I just wanted to say a quick thank you for putting this together.
Best interview I've seen in a long old time, and an absolute pleasure to watch the pair of you talking bikes and filming etc.
Looking forward to seeing both of your upcoming content.
Cheers,
Ade.
Wow, thank you!
The man, the myth, the legend! Oh and Ryan too 😁 👍
:0)
Awesome interview. Loved it immensely. Victoria, BC (Vancouver Island) here and I'm also insured year round. Thanks for everything you both give to the community. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Top bloke!
What an absolutely top bloke Ryan is for giving his time in this way.
That was absolutely brilliant. Learning about Ryan's backstory and career was really interesting to me personally.
I thought it might be of interest to people....was to me!
What a cracking interview! You have a great interview style and put your guests at ease, making for some great entertainment. Cheers!
Thank you that's very kind of you to say so, mostly I get people telling me I should stop talking so much!!
Hey my two favourite motorbike channels in one video! Good interview so far Andy, I'm not done yet.
Also for a bit of context/info the vast majority of Canada has so much snow over the winter the bikes are usually packed up from November to April.
Brghghg...!

if it makes u feel any better; the riding season in connecticut [new england USA] is even shorter, which is why i'm in nc [north carolina] now
I know a fellow in Longueuil who year-rounds on an old GoldWing. Darkside with the snowflake symbol, so cops never know what to make of it. Most inspiring motorcyclist I ever met. ~RF9
It’s been great to watch Ryan and the F9 channel develop. The F9 company is fantastic and the 2 are very representative of both. Great interview! 🇨🇦
No need to apologise - I’m a huge fan of the Fortnine channel too!
Just caught this after coming from the fortnine Harley vid. All their videos are so well researched. Between them, yourself and 44teeth we really are spoilt for quality content. None of which is on main stream media! To think my parents said I needed to go outside more and not play on my computer those years ago 😂😂
He he like it David....
Ryan makes documentaries on motorcycle stuff, and he does a very good job of it!
Great interview ! Ryan truly makes Canada and Canadian rides proud
Fortnine.ca is one of my "go to" shops here in Canada to buy motorcycle goodies :)
I really appreciate this video and the honesty of you both! Had to watch this in 3 parts but really enjoyed it. Just like F9's content, was a treat to watch! Thanks Andy and Ryan,
Our pleasure!
Great interview, Ryan's channel is excellent
Someone needs to interview Andy TMF , lots of questions on the other side of the slate !
Step up and get it sorted , Lamb Chops , Spicy110 , Henry Cole, Ewan McGregor !!!!!
Best regards Shaun .
Teapot one and TMF done a fantastic podcast. Well worth checking out
Yep Bruce’s Bru Time Podcast with Andy was an absolute hoot!
Thanks TMF for this interview. I am a subscriber to both channels and enjoy the different styles. A lot of great questions and some surprising answers. Thanks again.
I was surprised he said Cabot - a bit like saying ride Wales and Scotland to see England.
Pemberton and Kootenays in BC for motorcycling.
Ryan is awesome, never a boring vlog, always presents it in a different way.
I agree...
Ryan is rocking the TH-cams.
My two favorite motorcycled sources together. Thank you. Long video but worth every second.
Thanks, enjoyed watching your interviews with Fortnine and Ichy Boots.
Super interesting! Thanks for taking the time to do this video for us.
Well that solves the "what to do for the next couple of hours" dilemma.
What a great interview Andy and Ryan. Superb. Thanks very much
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice vid mate! I’ve recently just got a 2019 500r and it’s so cool can’t wait for it to be delivered 😁
Just got mine two weeks ago. You'll love it!
Cracking interview as always TMF. Thanks for including the pictures of the bikes when talking about them. Saved me time 👍🏼
tarantino's lost child
Nitzan Roger Federer’s brother?
Joffrey Baratheons cousin?
OH YES
Wow! That was great, what a treat. Been a sub to Ryan for a very long time. Really knowledgable guy and always does very professional, creative, informative video's.
Well done Andy for pulling that off.
Great interview! How about getting Josh from Shadetree Surgeon?
He’s on the list!
Keyless ignition is brilliant. I can forget that I lost my keys in my pocket and avoid that panicked 30 minutes I spend faffing about looking for them. I just get on and ride. Great interview. Thanks Ryan and TMF!
Ryan forgot Ducati for being on their ‘Do not lend’ list
When I saw the length of this video I thought I no way I could watch it in one sitting......boy was I wrong. Came across Ryan's channel a couple of years ago, and as some of your subscribers mentioned, their production quality really stood out. Yet another fine video, looking forward to your next one.
Thanks for watching in its entirety, glad you liked it!
So great Ryan! Ryan and Itchy Boots! Who is next Fast Eddy Moto Jitzu... she said hopefully
That's an interview I was waiting for! Awesome! Thanks to both of you!
Thank you for watching - great to have you along!
Good to know that you are not only a very good rider but you also have good taste in Motorcycle content. You, Slaty and FortNine are actually my favourite providers of Motorcycle content out there.
@@arjorn9121 thanks a lot!!!
My fav F9 vid is one where Ryan just talks through safety stats and how to avoid becoming one
Another fine interview, great job TMF! Ive been watching Ryan's channel foe several years, always quality stuff with some great production values. He's quite an articulate young man! It's good to see someone in their 20's doing motorcycle videos.
I agree - a very sharp cookie is Ryan - he'll go far!
They just built a Tim Hortons in my town. I no longer have any reason to go to Canada.
Ryan and Andy, like Reese's peanut butter cups. Two great TH-camr's that work great together. Thanks guys!
Our pleasure!
Love Ryan he's a rascal lol
Brilliant interview! Been waiting for something like this for some time! It was really cool to get the deeper story on the both of you! Totally down for these super long videos :)
Glad you approve!
Literally came across FortNine a couple weeks ago and binge watched almost every episode since. Ryan kinda reminds me of Marques Brownlee from MKBHD, great content and production but it's really nice to see people stay down to earth and remain approachable, one love to all.
One of your best videos! Thank you both for getting together for that!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love both your channels. What a treat! Thank you
Great video. I think that whatever the production values, viewers engage with the personality of the vlogger. It is the vlogger’s honesty and passion for the subject which make!videos entertaining. All of this applies to your videos - and by the way your production values work fine for me!
Aww, thanks for that - you're too kind!
Ryan's video on the Motorcyclist's Superpower, invisibility - probably one of the best and most helpful videos ever made, and should be a must see for all riders.
Love both channels following both since 2018
Good stuff thank you!
Excellent content! Im a longtime fan of both of your channels and thank you TMF for giving me something interesting to watch :)
You’re welcome!
Wow! The quality and interesting stuff just keeps on coming from you at the moment! Thank you!
Glad you think so! ...and I'll try my best!
Thanks,
Rob, Virginia, USA
Welcome along Robert!
Love watching both of your videos. Hope to see you when life takes me to Canada and UK.
I’ve watched Ryan’s videos for years and his content is truly on another level. Every episode is a masterpiece and well put together. I can’t be the only one who watches his videos more than once.
For some reason it’s strange to hear someone ask if Niagara falls is in Quebec
Oops - my bad!
How did I never come across this video years ago??? Great conversation between two great vloggers, thank you to you both
Our pleasure!
Thanks for a brilliant interview! Been following Ryan for a while now (and you too)... Keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ohh excellent shout, Love FortNine, Thanks for bringing this to us. Great to get insight behind that amazing content.
Never watched you channel but will check it out. I thoroughly enjoyed this video as I have an interest in cinematography of which the Fort Nine excels in. Many thanks Andy. Kind regards from Swansea.
Welcome along Carlos!
Brilliant video! With two of my favorite bike reviewers as well!!!! Keep up the good work, both of you!!!!! Greetings from a sunny Sweden.
Much appreciated!
