I absolutely love this. Of coarse your laker fishing. (Lake trout) is my favorite content, but I’m still learning laker fishing. But I catch 26-28” rainbows ice fishing every winter here in Alaska. Those big rainbows are fun!

Footballs that look like rainbows! Those were some tanks, they definitely aren't missing many meals. Finally made it out on first ice in southern ontario, managed to scrounge up a few bites. Hoping for more ice so I can venture further

Dude I wish I had seen this before I bought one. I love my Buddy heater. I went to buy a Big Buddy and got side tracked my the Heat Hog. Tried it. 1 pounders don't work in it. It cuts out. It won't empty one. With a 20 pound tank I have to crank the valve all the way open to make it stay on, where as with the Buddy heater I just crack it and it runs until empty. On low, it's loud and it always sounds like it's going to cut out any second. The heat hot won't even empty a 20 pounder. When it's on, I love it. It spreads the heat better than the Buddy. But I'm definitely going to try and exchange it for a big Buddy.
Sir, in your active sonar you seen to have it in forward looking mode even when stationary rather than down mode, why? Was this a benefit from Mega Live?
In Mega Live I could never do this, felt like I could never seen anything past 40-50 feet. With Livescope I can look so much further and I have been able to learn so much more!

I've had better luck with my heat hog than I have the 2 mr. heaters that I have. Having the battery op igniter is amazing. I'll stick with the heat hog unless I don't have the space for the big boy
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors The only heater I have ever used without any issues is an old sunflower style. Those have much more significant safety concerns however.

The dip stick is a light, not a ML. The ML in the 39” fibre glass series is the Drench. Hope that helps :)

Heat Hogs are not good! AND!! Even worst customer service :(
I noticed the heat hog got splashed with water from one of the fish. Maybe that caused an issue. Just an observation. Great video.

They stock trout here in Texas in the winter. They run from 6-10 inches. I’d lose my mind if I got a 24 inch rainbow.
