funny how i’m still subscribed . i can vouch here , sir you predicted 70% of the paper back in 2022 . a big help , glad to see you still helping others 🎉
@@ghyftdb we had advanced information back then so i do suppose it was easier for mr murray , but i do say his predictions are amazing . wishing you that A*, goodluck 🫡
@@tomvanniekerk10 100% but u always gotta be prepared, we are the last year to do the 2024 spec so theres alot of stuff being removed - this *might* mean that those topics will be tested more
I’ve watched this video a few days before my biology paper 1. And can I just say, he accurately predicted a good amount of the topics in there. Although I had abit of anxiety during my exam but If it wasn’t for Mr Murray, I would’ve done ALOT more worse. He literally saved me in the exams. I revised those specific topics he mentioned and it’s honestly helped me out the best and it’s what is keeping me going. Thank you so much!
@@fiya4444 yeah i did the paper, that’s why i’m confused why people are saying the predictions he did were correct? i literally went over everything he said in the vid before the exam and NONE of it was useful. this is no hate to sir !!
cba looking through it now, tbh i didn’t really use his predicted questions i just went over the bits that hadn’t been highlighted on the textbook. One of them was osmoregulation and that was a 6 marker. More just appreciating the fact he took time to go through the past 3 papers and highlight everything.
Probably a more general question, so like how is blood glucose level/ glucose release controlled by both the nervous and endocrine systems, (there was one abt water reabsorption)
@@millyrae1111 It’s more of a unified q, so how the hypothalamus releases ACTH, which contols the release of glucorticoids (e.g cortisol) which are released from the adrenal cortex, they do a few things but one of them is ⬆️ [blood glucose] by ⬆️ glycogenolysis, so that means the control of the release of cortisol can impact BG levels, this is only an assumption that it’s NS control because hypothalamus is part of the CNS because obviously it’s in the brain, so I’m not too sure if this classes as NS control but yeah that’s what I would say! Hope that helps
when we needed him the most he came back what a legend

Well tbh I don’t think it was that hard to predict 2022 since their was advanced information.
Genuinely the best biology teacher! Exactly what I needed, hope you are doing well
I personally think that a question (maybe 6 marker) about xerophytes and hydrophytes is very likely to come up on paper 1
also a 6 marker on the 2 types of dialysis (since its being removed off the spec after this year)
@@jennaaa-21yes that’s a good one
@@jennaaa-21 Dialysis is actually such a bad topic a 6 marker on that would be rough

@daisytucker4498 no i’m not certain but are any of these youtubers predictions certain?
sir do u think u could do a video after paper 1 has been sat so that the predictions would narrow down?
best bio teacher these predictions are so good I hope everything is well !
Sir pls do ocr papers walkthrough

has insulin being released from beta cells came up much? could that be a 6 marker?
Might just be about how it's released or to outline the mechanism of negative feedback with insulin
Probably a more general question, so like how is blood glucose level/ glucose release controlled by both the nervous and endocrine systems, (there was one abt water reabsorption)
too basic for a 6, probably outline role of insulin and how it is secreted/controlled, with mark scheme also looking for the negative feedback for 5
