Excellent video as always Luke! Still like the look of the Iveco, will be interesting to see how it goes long term! Keep up the good work and keep Safe! 👍🚛😀
I was caught up in an even worse nightmare when travelling back home from Weymouth to the Midlands. I even took my 45 before setting off and then had to take another at Frankley Services with about 8 minutes to spare. The best thing about it was that I only had to drive for another 34 minutes to get back to base.
Looking at where you're stuck in traffic, it beggars belief why a lot of drivers keep their foot on the pedal. I've been in queues where its been over 5 minutes, and red lights are brightly lit up. It's so annoying, especially at night. You know you won't be moving anytime soon
Back In my neck of the woods around Leighton Buzzard, recognised alot of the footage, especially the Shell garage and Mc D's and the A5 Heath and Reach turn. Safe travels.
10:10 fyi its much better to clean windows and mirrors with a paper towel, most microfibre towels will still leave a residue especially after couple minutes, i used to do it and had to buff it in later on, after using just paper towels the mirror not only looks cleaner but doesnt need a second rubbing in to remove streaks and residue
If I'd known you were camping up in LB I'd have come and said hello, I only live5 mins from where you were parked up! For future reference if you park up in one of the industrial estates on Stanbridge Road, there's a new link road (Fraserfields Way/Briggington Way) just after the VOSA centre that meets up with Vandyke Road/Mile Tree Road that the BMI Redland site is on. It saves going out and all the way round and that dodgy turn onto the A5. Signs say about width restriction but it's been taken out since the new houses were built.
Hi Luke, great video always! Can I ask what influenced your boss to go for IVECO over M.A.N, Scania, DAF or Volvo… was it a financial thing or do the IVECO’s offer something the rest don’t?
Man you were on the A505 where I failed my test before I passed it lol literally knew where you were in Leighton and man damn can't believe you were staying overnight there recently aswell 😂 man. Well keep well buddy.
I hope she goes well for you but I won’t be surprised to hear she is trouble I have driven Iveco for ten years and they have always been very troublesome it may be the job we do milk collection from farms the S way is very comfortable and pulls well if only they were reliable but they are cheap for a reason but like I said I hope you’re goes well for you she does look good 👍
There’s a button on the remote which allows you to check the brakes. I also have a metal stick that I can use to wedge between the seat and brake pedal
There's a remote? For the tractor? Or for the trailer? Or what, I'm confused. EDIT: it's okay, got my answer in another comment. I use a wooden stick lmao, it just seems so crude.
Hi Luke you mentioned about the plate in your other video think you said it is yours just wondering are you allowed to do that or is this the truck you were talking about leasing ?
I have a pole that I wedge between the bottom of the sweet and the brake pedal. It can also be done by pressing a button on the key it’ll cycle through all the lights
Hi luke great video congrats on the new truck I know it's late better late than never. Just out of curiosity what sunglasses are they that you ha e on in this vlog.
Why do you not hook your ratchet straps onto the hooks that are meant for ratchet straps? I always thought hooking onto the bed can bend and Damage it as it’s not meant to be hooked onto
I know you are not supposed to listen to the radio for TH-cam for copyright, but say national BBC use regionals for traffic alerts., say Radio 2 one can get Oxford or wherever for travel bulletins, to help with journeys. Just a thought.
Cracking truck there Luke....... But what the hell are the shite sticky out lights (the ones you had to twist) cheap and nasty they won't last five minutes...... She looks great real lump of kit Cheers mate 👍👍
Why should you have to pay to furnish the company's truck bloody liberty if you ask me, That company properly got you on the same hourly rate as a supermarket worker as it is, I would be looking for a new job.
Three things with the new unit, not enough storage, and why green beacons,I've only seen doctors with green, Amber is best, but the worst thing is the massive sun screen, if your in Saudi ok, not needed here. The worst thing about it is it restricts our view of the road, and makes the cab gloomy. Could you have it removed please.
What knobhead says you cannot have night aircon and a top bunk then ? you only have to go on the internet to see secondhand S Ways for sale with both, Maybe just Maybe someone cannot afford both lol Nice to see IVECO still have things about fall off (no change there then) or is that a KUDA F/U ? Fix It Again Tony, Is that why there are so many Second For Sale then all seem to be Very Low Milage for some reason lol

Hi luke love the video again keep them coming and keep trucking and stay safe mate

You just made me smile. Off with high visibility, chuck to one side. Jenko will folds and put away. Any way love to see your dog as drivers mate.

Not the person on the slip roads fault there was no queue. What do you want them to do?
M driving down the inside of trucks is how accidents happen
Hi Luke, great video always! Can I ask what influenced your boss to go for IVECO over M.A.N, Scania, DAF or Volvo… was it a financial thing or do the IVECO’s offer something the rest don’t?
The iveco cost 121,000 all in. I’m not sure it was a financial reason
18:50 what do you truckers actually do in this scenario if you end up with no driving time and traffic is not moving?
Pull over in the nearest safe place and do a print out explaining why you went over. It’ll be fine 👍🏻
Done it a few times. Just don't make a habit of it.
Another great vlog Luke keep up the great work pal 👍🏻👍🏻
Get yourself some Soft 99 Glaco Mirror Coat Zero. Great stuff for keeping your mirrors clear.
Always enjoy the videos on your channel best of luck with the new truck 🛻👍👍👍

Another great video, when doing the lights on the vehicle check always wondered when your on your own how you check the brake lights,
I drive a daf 105.460, I put a spare numberplate at the base of the brake pedal to check mine 🙂👍
I must have subscribed over 2 and a bit years ago so good to see them subs rolling In
Oxford is a nightmare with the roadworks on the roundabout, almost pointless even trying to navigate it. Best to totally avoid!
My wife got stuck in that traffic left Oxford at 5 and got into Cricklade after 7:30 was not fun, apparently variety is not the spice of life.
So have the dafs been sold
I feel your pain in those roadworks, took 45 mins from Abingdon to get past Botley last week
Were you the guy in the number 7 bus to Eggham?
Great video bud any chance we could see some chest mount when driving look good in that’s trial
Whats the Green beacon light for?
To identify the driver
Loving the new truck.

Could you put a hammock or some netting up for a bit more storage if not possible for more lockers?
What size is 2xl in England
Because I live in Thailand and there 2xl is the same as our L or EXL
Nice one Luke, thanks 👍👍
A very good Monday morning to you sir
Brilliant vlog as always mate!! Thank you very much 👌
Luke, hiya. One problem I encounter when towing is checking brake lights. When you're doing your checks, how do you do this? Thanks.
There’s a button on the remote which allows you to check the brakes.
I also have a metal stick that I can use to wedge between the seat and brake pedal

The remote controls the tractor unit but if it’s connected to the trailer then those lights also work 👍🏻
Hi Luke you mentioned about the plate in your other video think you said it is yours just wondering are you allowed to do that or is this the truck you were talking about leasing ?
figured the "old" look. The front is like an old american truck from 60's named the international. Seen in many old american movies.
this Friday I drove from London to Leeds, it took me 7 hours because there were big traffic jams
This is going to sound weird but I’ve never seen you eat, what and when do you eat
When you do your checks how do you check brake lights
I have a pole that I wedge between the bottom of the sweet and the brake pedal.
It can also be done by pressing a button on the key it’ll cycle through all the lights
@@lukecinahgvI swear on my life I thought that message about a pole was about to take a wrong turn 🤣👌

Great video as always luke 👍
bring your dog to work that would be fun to see. love your vids and heres to 100k🍺
Another great episode
Why do you not hook your ratchet straps onto the hooks that are meant for ratchet straps? I always thought hooking onto the bed can bend and Damage it as it’s not meant to be hooked onto
As far as I’m aware the hooks are actually weaker
Those are rope hooks. The bed is a lot stronger. Chassis is the best but not always reachable
@@grenzfootage7471 oh okay, I’m a scaff and we’re only strapping boards down but always go on the hooks
Should have called him Max instead of Lando ;-)
Great video luke
are you from stockport
Haven’t watched in awhile come back to you in my home town Leighton buzzard.
Was that Range Rover in the traffic jam foreign as that plate didn't look uk legal as that Range Rover definitely wasn't a classic?
I think that’s a Jersey or Guernsey registered Range Rover Sport.
Always good video Luke

Leighton Buzzard is my home town!!!
You have my deepest sympathy.
@@Nickbaldeagle02 Well I was surprised to see my home town on my favourite youtubers channel. Mr 'I like my own comment'
Hi good Sunday morning from Trinidad 🇹🇹👍
I think they are hornets they might have nests there in the grass
Where's the amazing private reg you mentioned a few weeks back

Great vid Luke 🙂
They say your not a proper tramper if you don't have your dog with you . 😮 I don't know Luke just saying 😂😂😂😂😂..
Purfleet Truck Wash not a sponsor?
No but would be great if they were! 😂 wouldn’t mind free washes!
This might seem like a stupid question, but, why aren't car drivers governed under the same rules as coach and lorry drivers?
It would be impossible to police.
Lando norriss the dog
Shame you can’t even have a cargo net in the top bunk slot
Think they are sand bees. Could be wrong
Afternoon Luke, 17:57, you should bring your dog on a trip. Keep up the videos 😊.
I want to se a full truck cleaning vid
Hi luke great vid as always have you got a name plate?
I do, but is Hebron got it displayed
Looks like digger bees

You can have both air con and cupboards and you don’t lose the centre control panel
IVECO ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THE D A F
