I have this shifter kit installed. park , reverse, neutral and OD work fine (it automatically shifts thru all the gears fine so I don’t think the transmission is hurt) . But for some reason I can’t manually shift gears (1,2,3) it just stays in OD. It used to work fine
I have the shifter installed, bolted to the lower bolts had to make the same kind of bracket for the top bolts, the problem I’m having is the shifter indicator seems to be sitting to high and I can’t get the indicator cover to sit flush, the shift is tight to the floor, the cover plate is down flush on the console, I don’t get what is wrong.
I'm having a problem with my bm hammer shifter going put the stock shifter back in because everytime I pull up on the lock out it's not smooth it's a rough pull
If it's rough to shift then it's likely you need to adjust the cable at the transmission OR you have something interfering with the shifter. Make sure the plastic console cover isn't hitting something.
@@MrStangdawg it's more the metal slide that goes up and down I had it for a year and definitely put it to use and my cable has a plastic sleeve with a blue thing where do they go on the cable

@@Mattys91gt my cable was a used OEM/Ford shifter cable but the LMR one should function exactly the same. It's easiest to bolt on the bracket first, then connect the cable to the shifter and then to the shift linkage on the transmission. Is the little "brass arm" in the slider? If the slider has the brass arm in it should sit flush. Let me know if you can't figure it out.
For some reason my LED indicator flashes.

Does the cable lay against the floor board or in that u shape ,this is my issue
From the transmission is the entire cable is in a U shape. bottom of Shifter -> U shape bend -> to the side of the transmission.

how did you connect the reverse wire?
The slider piece is what gives you the gears. As you move the shifter it moves the little LED light for the appropriate gear
