  • How To Smoke A Brisket On A Traeger with Kosmos Q... Now when it comes to how to smoke a brisket on a pellet grill I know a thing or two about how to help you get this done and get it done right! If you're like me and you've got more than a few lazy bones in your body you're probably wondering how to smoke a brisket on a pellet grill...These little grills are stellar when it comes to tight timeframes and getting some sleep while still laying down the jiggly brisket come dinner time! I was lucky enough to have a gold grade wagyu brisket from Snake River Farms hanging out in the freezer so I threw the wood to it and I think you'll be pleased with the results! Take some notes and knock your next pellet grill brisket out of the park!

    I'm a Texan who moved to Montana 20 yrs ago. I live in a condo where only electric smokers/grills are allowed, so I purchased a Traeger at Costco. To get that intense smoke I'm used to [while using a stick burner for 50+ years] I added a smoker tube in my Traeger. All my briskets have come out awesome, but I'm going to try the saran wrap idea the next time! Thanks. I also love your Cow Cover!

    • @mfarooqzia
      @mfarooqzia 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, that's the exact question that I have. I have been using pellet grill for over a year now but still cant produce that smokey flavour that stick burner give. Any suggestion on that? I have used Smoking tube, but than again you are filling it up with pellets and the argument is that if pellets were capable to produce intense smoke flavour, they would have done in the normal cook as pellet grills produce tons of smoke but not the intensity.

    • @BakersBBQ
      @BakersBBQ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Whitepablosandoval thanks for your question! In short I plan an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half per pound at 275* give or take because each brisket will cook a little different. At 225* you are looking at a very long smoke & I would recommend increasing cooking temp to 250*-275*. I usually smoke my briskets at 275* and on a 13lb brisket I would anticipate a 12-15 hour cook bringing the internal temp to 205* & until probe tender. Not to take away from viewing Kosmos Q’s channel (I love some Kosmos Q) but I have a few videos I’ve made on my channel that may also be helpful. Hopefully my feedback helps…Happy Smoking Brother👍🏻😊

    I’m calling you out kosmo! How can this be a beginners brisket cook, your using wagyu brisket. That’s not a beginners choice. Your amazing and I’m not dogging on you lol, just thought I’d put that in there for all the haters and keyboard cooks.
