Growing up, I thought it was just natural that our jurisdictional supervisor was also the national supervisor of women, LOL. I mean, California NW was like that! LOL. I know my mom was there because I stayed with her and my Dad in Memphis that year, but I can't spot her.
Lord...they just cut poor Sister Green out of her spot on the program to sing the Sermonic Solo for the General Supervisor's Official Women's Day Message. And you know she had been rehearsing and preparing for that opportunity for months in advance. So it had to hurt to be cut out like that. Bless her heart! 😆
