It's like every person forgot about Mako x Korra. Like it never happened. They don't realize that these characters are not real. They could be a happy couple, but the creators ruined everything. Honestly I don't understand why people like LOK. It's too overrated. Don't get me wrong. It's not that bad, but it is definitely not a perfect show compared to ATLA. I think LOK could be a really amazing perfect show, especially season 1, the idea of a so called non bender becoming a villian is so good. Years ago when I heard about a new avatar show that was in the making, I read somewhere that it would be a short show with just one season, "don't expect a lot " when I watched the first 4 episodes of book 1 I was so excited, but they ruined everything. They even killed Amon for no reason. That villain had so much potential, they could easily make more seasons with him. They could make Amon's story more interesting, maybe it would change something if he was at the same age as Korra. Anyways when it comes to romance in LOK it really sucks, nothing makes any sense, I really liked Korra with Mako and in the last episode of season 1 you could definitely see how much Mako loved her, but then after season 1 BAM everything ruined. Ok just because it's "water" and fire, doesn't mean it's zutara. These two were really, deeply in love. They really were passionate, and cared about each other, but korrasami was kinda bs. Katara and Zuko would've been cool, but her relationship with Aang, while a little awkward and childish, was deep. They had strong feelings for one another, and cared really deeply about each other. Y’all just say Zuko and katara for the looks. Their relationship only sort of showed up on their “life changing field trip” and when they fought azula, Aang and katara had been developing over all 3 seasons
I ship Zutara and it's definitely not for the looks. While watching ATLA, you can see how much Zuko cared for Katara. She was the only person that he allowed to touch his scar. He even told Sokka that it was important to him what Katara thought of him. Katara could also finally be herself in front of him. I always felt that Katara tried really hard to hide certain parts of herself to keep Aang in spirit so that he can save the world, but with Zuko she was herself. She was also willing to forgive Zuko after what she had gone through with the fire nation. Their relationship had a lot of development, you can't deny that. They kind of had different personalities, but both lost their mothers, which they could find comfort in each other. Zutara had so much potential. It would have been great symbolism if they had ended up together. Think about it, the next Fire Lord marrying a water-bender. It would have been a really powerful message. Though Kataang is good and Aang did like Katara for a while, it felt like she saw him as a little brother. Like after Aang defeats Ozai, it feels like their relationship is rushed. The way I considered Aang's crush on Katara is the way I would describe a child having a crush on their babysitter. I feel like Kataang was a very typical relationship, like the hero gets the girl. I personally believe their relationship was better off platonic. Just my opinion that Kataang was good, but Zutara would've been better.
Just watch LOK Final season 4 and I'm greatly disappointed because Korra is with Asami. I can't see anything between them beside friendship, just two lonely damaged girls find comfort to each others. I honestly thought that Mako deserves more. It's been hinted that he care so much to Korra, he risks his life more than once, I hope when everything settled down, Mako and Korra can be reunited. I seriously think and feels that Korra and Mako is already perfect. it's a shame if they're not meant to be.

I never saw it as them going through it together. They all went through it together. However, Mako and Korra fought Amon alone, and with each other. Her father being an equalist wasn't such a huge impact to their relationship...they all dealt with it. They were already "together" so it was normal for Mako to be there for her and care. But Mako cared, worried and...well truly loved her without belonging to her. Which is why their love is real to me

As much as I love Korrasami there were so much build up for Makorra and the chemistry doesn't just disappear. I mean true, Korrasami was cute in the comics, but still there were so much build up for Makorra! The way Mako nearly killed that guard when Korra was kidnapped just because he's so desperate. Yeah, i was crush after that final episode Literally crush. I don't understand why the writers did that. Mako back with Asami,I assume. Allegedly i heard first season, Asami was suppose to be evil. But half way thru the season they change their minds. Season 2 made Korra very annoying. Mako with Asami, Korra, back to Asami? I am really baffled. The best character this season for me was BOLIN. Wow, that was incredibly well-done. Most Makorra videos I see just put them together with lovey-dovey songs or super over-dramatized ones about broken hearts and souls and stuff. But Makorra is neither of those, it's struggles and hardships and attempts to deny feelings for the good of others, making horrible mistakes and then realizing in the end that they actually can't stop loving each after all and it's useless to deny it. And this portays it perfectly. Great job.

don't listen to all the haters, this video is one of my favorite makorra vids because its so incredibly edited and just beautiful. It shows Makorra's amazing relationship and story. IMO I think Mako and Korra's story was a lot more developed and real than Kataang's. Having mistakes and fights just made them strong in the end. I really do love Makorra.

I will always ship Mako and Korra.. I feel as if Mako fell into Asami's beauty but not who she truly is. He really loves Korra but he just cant realize it. Whats more is that he saw a strong, loyal, and amazing person in Korra. He uses Asami's relationship as a excuse but he just can't choose. Yet Korra and Mako truly love each other. Asami came running into Mako's arms. And even when they were together he couldn't stop thinking about Korra. He was losing himself. If just said what is in MY PERSPECTIVE. i understand Mako and Korra are over but it breaks by heart much more to see what even caused this love Triangle.

I think Makorra was beautiful and they were perfect for each other. Mako was confused with his feelings. What Mako felt for Asami was different from what he felt for Korra. He was only dating Asami cause she is hot and girlfriend material. It’s completely normal, it’s almost impossible don’t get into someone like her. But what he felt for Korra was love. Something they developed together, something that came from “you’re still here?” to “I can’t imagine my life without you” and “no matter how hard things get I will always follow you and get you back”. He really loves this girl! I mean why someone who is not completely in love would prefer Korra instead of Asami?(Korra is great but Asami is AMAZING) He was with Korra cause she was the one. And she knew he was the one since the first time she saw him. That was a relationship where both cared and both were worried about each other. But that was something writers ruined. I don’t understand why they made Korra so annoying in book 2(I mean if mako says hi she says on what side are you). I know she was really overwhelmed bc of her avatar responsibilities but in book 1 when everything and everyone were against her and were making her angry, worried or sad he comforted her and made her feel better. Because that’s how life works, when you are through a bad moment in your life and you are mad at everyone with the person you love things will always be different. And even when Korra was mad at everyone cause she lost her bending even at Mako, after some time alone she wanted to be with him. But in book 2 Mako was there for her every time she was scared of something, or overwhelmed but she only fought him like it was his fault she didn’t even think about later and apologize. It makes no sense. She changed with him. He couldn’t say a word and she was about to hit him on the face with fire. I know that writers were thinking about Korrasami since book 1, so Makorra obviously was supposed to end, but doing what they did wasn’t the answer. Mako and Korra shared moments in book 1 that couldn’t just be ignored people who built a relationship like theirs in book 1 wouldn’t breakup in years. Besides they broke up in a moment where other things were making both confused and since they still love each other they should’ve talked about their relationship later when things were a little bit more calm. In that moment things were complicated a bad spirit was about to bring destruction to the world, northern water tribe was “attacking” southern water tribe and a 18 year old was the one who should stop all this. She is the avatar but is also a person. Even when Vaatu was defeated it wasn’t a moment to say if they work or not. In times like that nothing works. It wasn’t them that don’t work it was the moment that made everyone nervous. That wasn’t a moment to end a relationship forever come on. And I seriously don’t think that someone in Mako’s position would get back to Asami after what he had with Korra. He wouldn’t move on so fast after a break up with someone he really cared for. He was still hopeful about his relationship with Korra. It doesn’t make sense to me that he simply forgot Korra in minutes when Asami got in the room. And something else that don’t make sense to me is that they never had love interest in each other after their break up when they were frequently together. The way they broke up they would probably want to try again and make it work this time. Korra wouldn’t fall in love with Asami either. It doesn’t make sense that she forgot Mako so easily. No one forgets someone so easily and fast when they had strong experiences together like Mako and Korra had. It is impossible! They literally broke up crying, kissing and telling each other that they still love each other. What should’ve happened is that both of them would grow up and now try again. Also I don’t think that someone in Mako’s position after that breakup would sit there and watch his other ex “steal” the love of his life and do nothing(I mean, I understand that after a breakup people can move on, but people do fight over people they still love in real life. There are people we lose that we work hard to get back to, but when it’s true love they always end up together. What I believe that should have happened to Makorra. I don’t hate Korrasami, but I admit that I am not a fan because the story doesn’t make sense to me. They are cute together but letting them together is ignoring a love story which is Makorra that ended up kind of incomplete. I don’t think that if Korra were a person in real life she would have ignored her feelings for Mako like that or that Mako would have ignored it either. The writers simply starred a love story and trashed it like it was nothing. Mako and Korra had a process to get together and they simply trashed this process. I know Korrasami also had a process, but what about Korra and Mako what are they? Relationships aren’t like objects that you can trade or trash anytime and that’s fine. I think Makorra would have been great just like Korrasami is in the comics. For me Korrasami is great but when you watch back in Korra’s life it becomes weird cause it’s been built on another love story even if people don’t realize it in real life Korrasami wouldn’t have been long lasting because of Makorra even worse it wouldn’t even have happened.

My question was why Korrasami? If you wanted to push for diversity do it in BOOK 1. Sure you want it to be diverse, but you can't just pull a relationship out of your ass. There has to be a build up and a romantic bond. Makorra could have worked things out. There was no need for Korrasami. Sure she wrote the letter to Asami. But she was just a broken girl looking for the best candidate to lean on. In her case Asami was the best choice, but that doesn't mean they have to be together. THEY WERE FRIENDS. If you looked at Makorra and their composition, they weren't friends, they were lovers. They were built up to be with each other. They were more than just lovers, they were comrades, they were friends, they would follow each other into any battle whether it be physical or mental, they would've done anything for each other. I just don't see that kind of relationship between Korra and Asami. Also this isn't meant to offend anyone. 😂
Honestly, seeing videos like this that bring the nostalgia back from book 1 makes Korrasami look more out of nowhere now. The whole group dynamic has completely changed. I do not get the same feels from Book 4 that I do from Book 1 and unfortunately Book 4 was more fresh in my memory since it was the series conclusion. They had the portential to make a more mature version of Makorra by the end of the series since they both grew as people and they could give Asami a much better and well-deserved love interest. Or just leave Korra single at the end with more time to herself.
I don't understand why people not like Makorra. They are awesome together, Bolin is a too immature to be with Korra so they wouldn't go good together. This video brings tears of joy to my eyes, it’s so beautiful. I really wish that Makorra was made canon and became the main couple from the getgo. Had Korrasami been built up from the beginning I would of been more accepting of it. That would be the only thing I would change about the show. Again this video is so spectacular way to go!

It's like every person forgot about Mako x Korra. Like it never happened. They don't realize that these characters are not real. They could be a happy couple, but the creators ruined everything. Honestly I don't understand why people like LOK. It's too overrated. Don't get me wrong. It's not that bad, but it is definitely not a perfect show compared to ATLA. I think LOK could be a really amazing perfect show, especially season 1, the idea of a so called non bender becoming a villian is so good. Years ago when I heard about a new avatar show that was in the making, I read somewhere that it would be a short show with just one season, "don't expect a lot " when I watched the first 4 episodes of book 1 I was so excited, but they ruined everything. They even killed Amon for no reason. That villain had so much potential, they could easily make more seasons with him. They could make Amon's story more interesting, maybe it would change something if he was at the same age as Korra. Anyways when it comes to romance in LOK it really sucks, nothing makes any sense, I really liked Korra with Mako and in the last episode of season 1 you could definitely see how much Mako loved her, but then after season 1 BAM everything ruined. The creators of the avatar series are definitely talented, but they made some really big mistakes with Korra. Btw, this is just my opinion guys, please don't get offended by it. Mandeep Banwait
As much as I love Korrasami there were so much build up for Makorra and the chemistry doesn't just disappear. I mean true, Korrasami was cute in the comics, but still there were so much build up for Makorra! The way Mako nearly killed that guard when Korra was kidnapped just because he's so desperate. They're just so amazing for each other

Yeah, i was crush after that final episode Literally crush. I don't understand why the writers did that. Mako back with Asami,I assume. Allegedly i heard first season, Asami was suppose to be evil. But half way thru the season they change their minds. Season 2 made Korra very annoying. Mako with Asami, Korra, back to Asami? I am really baffled. The best character this season for me was BOLIN.

Wow, that was incredibly well-done. Most Makorra videos I see just put them together with lovey-dovey songs or super over-dramatized ones about broken hearts and souls and stuff. But Makorra is neither of those, it's struggles and hardships and attempts to deny feelings for the good of others, making horrible mistakes and then realizing in the end that they actually can't stop loving each after all and it's useless to deny it. And this portays it perfectly. Great job.

I will always ship Mako and Korra.. I feel as if Mako fell into Asami's beauty but not who she truly is. He really loves Korra but he just cant realize it. Whats more is that he saw a strong, loyal, and amazing person in Korra. He uses Asami's relationship as a excuse but he just can't choose. Yet Korra and Mako truly love each other. Asami came running into Mako's arms. And even when they were together he couldn't stop thinking about Korra. He was losing himself. If just said what is in MY PERSPECTIVE. i understand Mako and Korra are over but it breaks by heart much more to see what even caused this love Triangle.

I really liked the idea of Mako and Korra getting together in the first session, but then they split up and got back together then split up again.... I started liking Mako and Asami more. I would quite like to see more of Korra and the young General Iroh. :D

Mako was confused with his feelings. What Mako felt for Asami was different from what he felt for Korra. He was only dating Asami cause she is hot and girlfriend material. It’s completely normal, it’s almost impossible don’t get into someone like her. But what he felt for Korra was love. Something they developed together, something that came from “you’re still here?” to “I can’t imagine my life without you” and “no matter how hard things get I will always follow you and get you back”. He really loves this girl! I mean why someone who is not completely in love would prefer Korra instead of Asami?(Korra is great but Asami is AMAZING)
He was with Korra cause she was the one. And she knew he was the one since the first time she saw him. That was a relationship where both cared and both were worried about each other. But that was something writers ruined. I don’t understand why they made Korra so annoying in book 2(I mean if mako says hi she says on what side are you). I know she was really overwhelmed bc of her avatar responsibilities but in book 1 when everything and everyone were against her and were making her angry, worried or sad he comforted her and made her feel better. Because that’s how life works, when you are through a bad moment in your life and you are mad at everyone with the person you love things will always be different. And even when Korra was mad at everyone cause she lost her bending even at Mako, after some time alone she wanted to be with him. But in book 2 Mako was there for her every time she was scared of something, or overwhelmed but she only fought him like it was his fault she didn’t even think about later and apologize. It makes no sense. She changed with him. He couldn’t say a word and she was about to hit him on the face with fire. I know that writers were thinking about Korrasami since book 1, so Makorra obviously was supposed to end, but doing what they did wasn’t the answer. Mako and Korra shared moments in book 1 that couldn’t just be ignored people who built a relationship like theirs in book 1 wouldn’t breakup in years. Besides they broke up in a moment where other things were making both confused and since they still love each other they should’ve talked about their relationship later when things were a little bit more calm. In that moment things were complicated a bad spirit was about to bring destruction to the world, northern water tribe was “attacking” southern water tribe and a 18 year old was the one who should stop all this. She is the avatar but is also a person. Even when Vaatu was defeated it wasn’t a moment to say if they work or not. In times like that nothing works. It wasn’t them that don’t work it was the moment that made everyone nervous. That wasn’t a moment to end a relationship forever come on. And I seriously don’t think that someone in Mako’s position would get back to Asami after what he had with Korra. He wouldn’t move on so fast after a break up with someone he really cared for. He was still hopeful about his relationship with Korra. It doesn’t make sense to me that he simply forgot Korra in minutes when Asami got in the room. And something else that don’t make sense to me is that they never had love interest in each other after their break up when they were frequently together. The way they broke up they would probably want to try again and make it work this time. Korra wouldn’t fall in love with Asami either. It doesn’t make sense that she forgot Mako so easily. No one forgets someone so easily and fast when they had strong experiences together like Mako and Korra had. It is impossible! They literally broke up crying, kissing and telling each other that they still love each other. What should’ve happened is that both of them would grow up and now try again. Also I don’t think that someone in Mako’s position after that breakup would sit there and watch his other ex “steal” the love of his life and do nothing(I mean, I understand that after a breakup people can move on, but people do fight over people they still love in real life. There are people we lose that we work hard to get back to, but when it’s true love they always end up together. What I believe that should have happened to Makorra. I don’t hate Korrasami, but I admit that I am not a fan because the story doesn’t make sense to me. They are cute together but letting them together is ignoring a love story which is Makorra that ended up kind of incomplete. I don’t think that if Korra were a person in real life she would have ignored her feelings for Mako like that or that Mako would have ignored it either. The writers simply starred a love story and trashed it like it was nothing. Mako and Korra had a process to get together and they simply trashed this process. I know Korrasami also had a process, but what about Korra and Mako what are they? Relationships aren’t like objects that you can trade or trash anytime and that’s fine. I think Makorra would have been great just like Korrasami is in the comics. For me Korrasami is great but when you watch back in Korra’s life it becomes weird cause it’s been built on another love story even if people don’t realize it in real life Korrasami wouldn’t have been long lasting because of Makorra even worse it wouldn’t even have happened.

I personally really like book 3 and 4 (I'm telling you this as a makorra shipper myself), in book 3 and 4 you'd find them grow into a much mature individuals ❤ (I wasn't a fan of their personalities before but after book 3 Mako and especially Korra become so much mature 🥺💖) and I lowkey still feel that Mako still have feelings for Korra lol)

Fantastic job. That's what a good video does, and this was a REALLY good video.
My question was why Korrasami? If you wanted to push for diversity do it in BOOK 1. Sure you want it to be diverse, but you can't just pull a relationship out of your ass. There has to be a build up and a romantic bond. Makorra could have worked things out. There was no need for Korrasami. Sure she wrote the letter to Asami. But she was just a broken girl looking for the best candidate to lean on. In her case Asami was the best choice, but that doesn't mean they have to be together. THEY WERE FRIENDS. If you looked at Makorra and their composition, they weren't friends, they were lovers. They were built up to be with each other. They were more than just lovers, they were comrades, they were friends, they would follow each other into any battle whether it be physical or mental, they would've done anything for each other. I just don't see that kind of relationship between Korra and Asami.

Honestly, seeing videos like this that bring the nostalgia back from book 1 makes Korrasami look more out of nowhere now. The whole group dynamic has completely changed. I do not get the same feels from Book 4 that I do from Book 1 and unfortunately Book 4 was more fresh in my memory since it was the series conclusion.
They had the portential to make a more mature version of Makorra by the end of the series since they both grew as people and they could give Asami a much better and well-deserved love interest. Or just leave Korra single at the end with more time to herself.
