  • Arthur Bransby Burnand (Croydon 1859 -1907) was an English composer. He studied in Germany with Clara Schumann but settled in London. His songs and piano pieces were popular before World War I. His song "Dreams" was recorded by John McCormack.
    Burnand commonly composed under the pseudonyms Anton Strelezki and Stepan Esipoff.

      @@Swamp72 I've listened to it twice in a row.
      What is true is that if it is a good piece, after the first four bars I can write and say if I like it.
      This is a very good classical music channel from which I take songs to play on the piano and post them on my music channel

      im also like that, when the start is already good, a lot must go wrong to change my opinion, if the start is eh, I will listen longer and see what to make of it

      @@mrsnegy6001 no I do like it. What I was getting at was that they commented within three minutes of the video being posted and it’s a seven minute piece.

    Типичная салонная музыка,внешне красивая,но не оригинальная,вторичная, перенасыщенная арпеджироваными аккордами, октавами и т п.. Неумеренное использование арпеджио создаёт впечатление кваканья. Этот опус бы в Карнавал животных,да до Сен-Санса здесь дальше,чем до Нептуна с Плутоном. Но людям нравится - что ж: каждому своё.
