Tapping maple trees

In this video we are headed out to a wooded area to tap maple trees. We will use this sap that we collect to make maple syrup.
Tapping trees is the first sign of spring for us folks living in the north. It is so nice to finally be able to get out in the woods and walk around.
This year we are tapping trees very early due to the unseasonably warm weather.
