Nice bro. This past 5 years I been catching alot of croaker in oceanside 3 to 5 pounds. You should try there sometimes
Great video! You caught those in the inshore sandbar, eh? Very nice.
Hooraay! Correct drag adjustment!
Good save brother👍😂
Great video man! I enjoyed watching it. Just curious what kind of bait you used?
What brand waders you recommend. Thanks great video.
Great Video..nice catch..bro do you know the address of that place in santa monica.i wanna go one of these days. Thanks!!
Hey man, just wanted to say great video,
Maybe you and I could meet up somewhere and do some surf fishing. I surf fish all over socal beaches, I like Bolsa Chica State Beach the most, right off Warner and PCH free parking behind Jack N Box.
What worms are you sing there? Looks like a Carolina Rig? Hell of a day.. non stop action!
What spot is this...
What size style hook were you using and how much weight?
I can't remeber what brand of hooks these were but for reference they are comparable to eagle claw bait holder size 6. Weight 1/2oz
Which bait do you use?
Hey man my rod recently broke, and I’ve been looking into the okuma sst 10ft model, and I’m pairing it with a Daiwa legalis XH 2500 size. I plan to throw some small metal jigs and some jerkbaits. Could you tell me your opinion on this rod if you could?
Nice!! For the price I don't think you'll find a better combo. I've never fished the sst so I can't say for sure how it feels, closest thing I have is an 9' Okuma Celio rated to throw 1/2oz-2oz lures and I love it in Norcal for Striper, and a 9' Diawa Aculite which I feature in so earlier videos so I don't see why the sst wouldn't work well in the surf with Jigs and jerkbaits. It won't be quite as strong and sensitive as even your entry level St. Croix Triumph or Lamaglas but for the price I don't think you can go wrong. I wish you luck.
Surf Fishing Central I live in so cal and plan to use it off the pier and jog 15gram lures, so would the sst be stiff? I’m looking for a nice quick flick of the wrist to jig
As long as the lure weight rating which is marked on the side of any rod you buy does not exceed 1oz it won't be to stiff. For instance my diawa aculite has a rating of 1/4oz-1oz and it is very easy to flip 15gram (1/2oz) lures.
Surf Fishing Central I believe the lure rating for the sst that I’m getting is 3/4 oz to 3/8
Epic
I dont think theres a size limit on barred perch.
Some people have their own personal limits and also it doesn't have that much meat on it
fish to eat dawg.
I've caught several croker in La Jolla. Crokers taste really bad, throw them back!
I fish for crackers there good eating
What bait do you use?
I’ve done that beach save attempt so many times, dropped my phone in once. Glad it worked out, awesome shot!
