This game does not deserve the hate it's getting. Is the beginning a little boring? Yeah. Are a few islands dull? Yeah, I remember just not liking Bulbfish Island. I really did not care about sorting through their mess, especially with how obvious the culprit was. But everything else is amazing. The combat is engaging, and you really need to keep both brothers alive to pump out your damage. Luigi Logic is a great addition to boss fights. And the story is simple, but no less enjoyable for it. I'm invested in these endearing power outlet people and their efforts to stay connected with each other. I haven't beaten it yet, but I am very close and looking forward to the end.
I honestly can't wait for the Switch 2's launch. Always such an exciting day when a brand new console comes out. The original Switch sure has had one heck of a run.
