    Thank you so much Zina!! I live in Sweden, but am from Wales and have lots of Welsh wool from trips hiking in the Black Mountains there. Now I know what I'll do with this wool!! Was planning on felting, but some of the wool wouldn't be suitable. So cold in Sweden right now, so a thick fluffy woolen rug would come in handy! Great inspiring tutorial 🥰

    I have been wondering about this process for quite some time. I have some herdwick wool and was thinking of felting it, but this is much better. Thank you for this tutorial!

    After you’re completed, do you wash the rug to make it less likely to snag or get pulled apart?

    How do you clean a raw wool rug made on a peg loom.

      I'm washing ready rug in the soapy water in hot water several times

      Most wool cleans best in sunshine rather than water. If the wool is very mucky, you can wash in luke warm soapy water. I usually just hang out sweaters, scarves, blankets or rugs over bushes on a sunny day. It all becomes clean, it's like magic!!

    Is this your peg-loom version of Hutsul lyzhnyks ??
    (wool blankets from the Ukraine Carpathian region people called Hutsul)
