That beginning shot with your two daughters laughing with the wind in their hair made me tear up with joy. I love seeing a happy, well connected family. I miss my brother; he was my best friend growing up.
So glad that you are living your dream. The timing for your move could not have been more perfect. Appreciate you inviting us to be a part of your journey. Your family is very inspiring.

All of my time stationed over seas, sometimes haunts me. I have a smile and a good feeling everytime i watch you guys doing a well deserved life. Thank you
To Mr. Snapp E. Thanks for everything your doing over in the nightmare of Sands!! Your time is well appreciated and putting your arse on the line Every day is recognized!! Thank you sir!!
So much hard work..and so rewarding at the same time. I remember when I was young ( I'm over 60 now..well over..lol ) and lived on a farm with my family. The house was very old, and while we did have electric , we had no A/C or heating in the house. We used wood/coal burning stoves ( pot belly stoves in each room ) to heat the house in the winter, and a propane tank for cooking. We also had no running water..but we had a cistern near the house and a spring well out by the barn ( the old hand pump handled ones ). We carried drinking/cooking water to the house every day from the spring well. Remember the old bucket and ladle? Yep that was us..LOL. All our bathes were taken in galvanized tubs in the summer house ( a single room attached to the main house by a breezeway ), and our laundry was done in a wringer washer and hung out to dry. Frozen laundry in the winter was interesting to say the least. And last...we had an outhouse..but used a bucket in the winter due to the distance ( ya..fun times ). A lot of hard work goes into being self sufficient, but one day you guys will look back at all you've accomplished with fond memories of all the hard work and life experiences that got you there:)
If it helps my Dad was baptised in a creek and seven of us made it. My wife of 45 years was one of 13 kids and they did their laundry exactly how you are doing it. When we married we put the first hot water in their house. The wood stove was the only heat in the winter. My wife grew up broke the glass ceiling and retired a CEO of a financial institution. You give me hope for the future. Thank you for what you are doing.
The white in the water is limescale, I'm pleased that you are filtering this, When you build your house I would suggest that you Nano the glass in your bathroom (Shower Screens) so the water won't turn your glass white as at that stage it is very hard to remove. I hope this helps :-) With your make shift toilet, if you use your post hole driller and drill a deep as you can get it and pour your waste into the whole you can then cover it up once half filled. It would also be better for the land. I hope that this is a good tip for you guys
The opening scenery was so beautiful. How you take care of daily life was nice of you to share. Love the animals on the trail cam. You always put out videos I enjoy watching. God bless and stay safe 🙏❤
lots of energy to complete the day, but that is good for the body. You will probably find that once your house is built and the water is used with frequency on a daily basis, that the mineral/brown water will no longer be seen.
Okay, clothes washed. So where's the clothes line? Something nostalgic about line dried clothes! Growing up on a farm, we washed clothes pretty much the same way except used a wringer washer with a metal tub for the "rinse" cycle. Also used a water hose to fill each. Clothes line was nearby, and it had 6 lines which were completely filled. Dried quickly on breezy, sunny days. Nothing beats line dried bedding! But there were days a sudden rain would come out of nowhere, and it was a race to bring in the laundry. Good memories!
Nothing like line dried sheets as soon as they are dry, I put them right back on the bed! Crisp and fragrant!! I live in a trailer court right now and am not allowed to hang out my sheets among other things. It’s one of the things I miss. Can't wait to move out of court!
I loved my Southdown sheep...My Dad bought me my first lamb when I was 6 years old in 1954....The following year he bought me the Champion fat lamb at the Central Washington Fair at Yakima for $25 and it was a Hamp/Suffock cross...My flock evolved to eventually be all Hamp/Suffolk cross which I still think is a great meat animal. I always wanted to be a sheep herder up in the mountains, with a sheep herder wagon, Australian shepard sheep dog, and my .22....What a great life your kids are going to have in Idaho!! Get them involved in a local 4-H club and they will have memories for life.
That explains the "simple" in "Good Simple Live". Nothing but respect for you guys, you wanted something and are willing to make the necessary sacrifices to get to your end goal.
Great opening!!! Beautiful. There is an Israeli outfit that sells an affordable portable (bonded rubber) "digester" that turns your poop into methane gas and fertilizer.
Enjoyed every minute of that.. My husband, myself and our children lived like that for two years in Idaho's back country with no electric or water and an outhouse with no door.. I understand Jeremy's liking to use the bathroom winter and summer watching nature..And for our wheels we had a snowmobile (Enticer, long track) for approximately half a year.. Our 54 Chevy pickup waited about 54 miles from us for the dry months. I have come to the conclusion that a woman's very best friends are running water and a washing machine..My husband and I will have been married for 51 years very shortly. We have grown up together and I can honestly say life with him has been anything but boring.. I love the beginnings of your video's. You can tell that you love your life and where you are.. My heart literally aches with love for this state...and of course there are your wonderful video's
I guarantee Bessie is better than any new washing machine you can buy! Keep the ole girl running! Your channel brings back a lot of fond memories. We just completed our home build late in 2021. In 2018 we moved our family of 5 into a 32' RV (never had even spent the night in an RV before that!) and started building our home. Seeing this video reminded me of all the things I had forgotten about already, the chores and joys of bringing utilities to raw land. Honestly, it makes me want to do it all again... loved that part of our life!
You could run your grey water to the garden/orchard once you get it all established that way it takes the strain off of watering so much manually. Just use natural soap
I feel this vlog so much after living in the camper with our family of four for 18 months. You’re definitely getting good workouts with all that water hauling!
Wow, it is humbling for sure to see what all is involved in this move....Good thing is ...you are both young, so taking the endeavor is at the right time...and you are involving as much as possible, the kids to help with certain things...ya'll are doing great, keeping smiles and upbeat...know some days will just s*ck...but so is life...God Bless and so enjoy your journey...you guys are my escape!
You could put down couple 2x4 s down to protect hose from being driven over If you choose could put in line filer for settiment so mot to accumulate in trailer plumbing
yes, we have tons of splitters (3-4 way) and water hoses going everywhere...we have a water well and also rural water...we placedsome 2x2's on either side of the water hose(s) that crossed our drive way...we figured out ...with 3 vehicles , we were busting lines...it has worked great and would sure take some of the grunt work away!
My favorite video. Everything was perfect. Mountains, blue skies, outdoor laundry, the cutest Sheep ever, great water filter and just life. Please do a video showing step by step of various fermented foods you make. With the great need to stay healthy it would be a big help for you to teach us about this. All of it. The how and why.of these foods. I promise to make it a part of my menu.
This will be precious stuff to look back at for all of you and yes some day your grand children will love seeing how their parents and grand parents homesteaded and built their dreams! God Bless you!!!! Just so awesome! Free Americans, Living their Dreams!👌👍😉
You are making great memories. Times like these will follow you and when you look back you will have the best laughs . I have to say you both are very lucky that you have each other. He has the best voice.
The opening scenery was beautiful. I do admire this family for following your dream. It is beautiful there, and best wishes and Blessings for you as you get it done.
Whoever does the photography and videography does a wonderful job of shooting, then editing and producing it with the music blend. To put all of that with the incredible scenery of the outdoors, the mountains, and all the hold for some fun shots makes for a wonderful way to start your video, as you did! It's very professionally done! Well done! Just for your info... I grew up in southwestern Wyoming, having graduated from Big Piney High School. My dad was a school teacher, a Baptist pastor, and our family had a radio broadcast. My mom was also a school teacher, played the piano for choir and music at the elementary levels, and also played the piano at church and taught Sunday School. Many an evening we sat in the car in front of the church, with it -20 to -40, waiting for a deacon to come unlock the church door. We covered ourselves with blankets, as the heater and defroster never seemed to work very well in the 60s. How times have changed for you guys to raise a family in the 21st century!
Good to see a healthy connection between children and your animals. On our journey towards self-sufficiency, our consumer meat was beef, lamb, goat, pig, rabbits, and chicken. Larger animals were raised as a pair, selling one putting the other in the freezer. We also hunted and fished. Great life with everyone pitching in to keep things running smoothly.
Great video!! Just think how nice it will be when you're all done and everything is back to normal. It always makes you appreciate more what you have. The views are spectacular you are definitely in God's country!!! So happy for you all!! God bless
I love this! My wife and I moved off grid 3 years ago and we soooo relate to your washing machine fiasco! It’s all part of the process and each day, life gets a little easier when living off grid ❤️
Good old Bessie, a jiggling and a jangling all over the place, and all she needs is her corset to hold her together. I just love your laundry day, reminds me of when I had a twin tub washing machine and I was washing for seven. Five children and two adults we had to wash on our back porch and in the winter it was freezing. Why do you not put corrugated sheeting up with a door around the cone of shame?.Thanks for sharing. Have a great week-end.
Have you considered putting a tank in the loft to fill with water so you have gravity flow water when you don't want to start the generator? You could run the washer in the barn that way. I built a gravity flow water system in a friend's outbuilding and it works great. He connects a hose to a pvc pipe from outside the building that flows up to a tank 10 feet off the ground. I used a 55 gallon white food grade plastic drum. They are easy to find in the rural farm and supply stores. Much larger tanks are readily available. The loft creates a great opportunity for a gravity water system for when electricity is not available. Jeremy, Does your dump site have a containment system so rain water does not flow downhill from the dump site and spread E-coli?
Stand by your beliefs. I taught our children that there is a place behind the place behind the place in each of us where truth is found and it is our link to the creator, by whatever name. It is uniquely each person’s and should be oh so carefully protected. I believe we share this concept. Keep a’goin’…you’re doing 😊 great
Nice to see some background behind the scenes. Some reality of living while you get things built . Been there and done that . Great drone shots of the areas
Hi there, I’be been subscribed for quite a while but never have actually contacted you. I really enjoy your work achieved so far. I do understand the hard ‘Yacka’ you have subjected your bodies to. Please take care of yourselves. I’m nobody. Actually important to you or many other people. I’m a near 70 yr old grandmother. I’ve li bed on the land just with a newborn baby and a lighting plant - doing washing at night. The boss didn’t like the huge motor going at night. I do remember lying in bed and reading for hours out loud - my hunt was dyslectic and never managed reading, so I’d read out loud all types of mysteries, dramas and biography. Just Friday & Saturday nights. Had to sleep Sunday nights - work Monday’s so sleep Sunday nights. I’ll catch you later, All my love, Ellen. From Qld Australia.
I am in love with the opening of your video and the girls smiling and laughing with their hair blowing in the wind. Those sheep are OMGosh so adorable and squishable and loving their back massages. Typical chores of a home just a different spin on it since you are off grid. Was cool to see the animals on the cam and the turkey was almost a comedy act in itself lol. Hope you had a wonderful barbecue with your neighbors and look forward to your next video. Have a wonderful rest of your Saturday and a beautiful Sunday tomorrow. ~peace.
I’m enjoying your adventure and wanted to comment on your bathroom facilities. My mom and stepdad have been living in Burns Oregon for the last 19 years and they have the same type toilet. However, their design is a bit different. There’s the box, but the top plywood with the hole cut in is on hinges then the toilet seat is attached. So to take out the bucket, you lift up the seat/plywood top and lift out the bucket without having to pick up the whole box. It’s in a nicely insulated outhouse with electricity and the outlet is connected to the light switch so a small heater comes on when you turn on the light. Next to the toilet is the bucket of shavings and another bucket with the spare rolls of toilet paper. There’s a small wastebasket for carrying the used tissue to the burn barrel. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
That was one of your most interesting videos. You guys work hard, but it is well worth it. The scenery around where you live is heaven on earth. It's amazing what can be done when you are young and healthy. Keep living the dream and God bless the both of you and your wonderful family.
I never Knew that North Idaho is as pretty as seen in your videos, wonderful place, awesome family you have I never get bored watching these video release. ❤️❤️❤️
I love this! Let’s us know we are on the right path on our off grid journey in WA. This brings my husband comfort to know the duties aren’t isolated to only Him and our family 🚽💩 ... we love your family & journey
I subscribed to your channel when you guys were already in Idaho and watched episodes since, but I am glad I went back and watched a few older episodes with the saying of goodbye's to your old life. You did an amazing thing for your family, it took courage and faith to start building a new life. Well Done Melissa and Jeremy 💟 watching from Johannesburg, South Africa.✌
I don't know how I found your channel but I'm glad I did. You folks are living the dream of a lot of people today. Congratulations on your place and your beautiful family. Thanks for "keeping it real" in your videos, it makes them much better. As a retired LEO and someone that has children that are LEO's, I'm glad to see that you got out when you did. You are both doing the right thing and you have a great attitude while you're doing it. Stay safe and thanks for taking us along on your journey. Hey, if/when you get those days that seem like a struggle, remember that you have a ton of people that are rooting for you and many of them are living vicariously through your family as well. Good luck and God bless. Liked and subbed.
Beautiful mountain views... When you said that was a weeks laundry I was 😲 I have 6 kids and that's one day😂 but then you said stages of dirty 😆😆.. Have a good evening 🌻🌻🌻
I see the comments have been flowing in. I have not read them all but here are my thoughts. 1. Gravity fed water for the washer? Similar to your rabbit water but with a nice fat hose for your washer. 2. All I know about composting toilets I learned from 'Off Grid with Doug and Stacy.' If the buckets smell, use more shavings. And you could build a compost bin. Use straw to cover after dumping your buckets. Once filled you let it sit for 1 year. Then it can be used like normal compost. 3. You guys are awesome. Keep up the hard work. It is definitely paying off. You ROCK!!!!
Always cool to see what's happening 'behind the scenes' sometimes viewers forget just how much real life is happening outside of the videos. You're all doing a great job, keep the faith and looking forward to more vids!
Thanks for sharing the game pics with us. I enjoy all of it because I am fighting my depression while sheltering at home. This type of video makes me grin and appreciate being alive. I just miss my family.
Keith here, in NC. Wow, I'm sure some would never consider living like you are right now. Wouldn't bother me one bit. Actually, your "temporary" set-up is not bad at all. With girls some things are just necessary. What makes it "nice" is the end result. You have a wonderful place, I love the country there. I really do enjoy your videos and the content. Not to cast a black cloud, but to help stay informed, search Joshua Philip on TH-cam and also South China Sea. Love you guys! Keep the great vids coming, I look forward to them❤
love how you show how much you are in love. never be afraid to show that. it makes the show. yes those little but love taps and the way you eyeball each other warms my heart.
that cone of shame is great when i was little my dad would also do all of the crap jobs and get the the water from a spring about 5 miles from home he did that for one whole summer till he got the artesion well dug and the septic system put in im now 51 yrs old and he has been gone for 2 yrs and its my job to dig up the septic system when needed fortunetly i havent had to do it since he passed away
Awesome, Awesome intro, i played it twice. Laundry and chores is a long day but a necessity i am going downstairs in a minute and hug my machines, i will never take them for granted ever again. Thanks for taking us along, a nice change of pace. Beautiful family, Beautiful scenery and i love the sheep.
I did that for a year! It is MUCH cleaner than a water toilet, and the compost is GREAT. I have a grape vine growing near that and it is HUGE. The amount of grapes on that vine this year is IMMENSE!
Wondered about composting human waste.... Also wondered about dumping human waste in the environment.... Also wondered about the human waste as marking territory-- does the dumping attract or discourage wild animals. I'll have to ask Mr. Google. Lolllll.
@@-sstevens5444 The way he dumps it on top of the ground should be a good method, at least during the sunny season. As it dries in the sun, harmful bacteria should die off.
Shame to see that going to waste. 😊 Have y’all read Joe Jenkins book? We have been using that method for 2 years and produced great fertilizer. Instead of directly on the ground you dig a hole and use a bed of straw. Doesn’t smell either. No shame in that! ❤️ We live in an RV too. I admire what y’all are doing. Great video. Take care. Pam
It’s refreshing to watch youtubers that aren’t always pg lol It’s one way I’ve never been able to relate to many TH-cam homesteaders on here. Gives me a good little chuckle every time I watch you all. We may have to use the bathroom style one day when we Reno our bathroom. My kids would love it.
The pictures at the beginning were beautiful & the view from your place is breathtaking. Y’all are truly living a dream life. I know it’s a lot of work right now but will be well worth it in the end. Y’all are just the cutest couple & so are your kids. You need to set up a composting bin for your poop. After composting for a year (some people prefer 2 yrs.), it can be used on your garden, fruit trees, etc. Off Grid with Doug & Stacey recently did a video on their poop composting. Keep up the great work & great videos. Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸👍❤️🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good evening to all you folks. You definitely have things to look at in the countryside. Such a beautiful place to live. Thanks for sharing with us and allowing us to ride along with. Fred.
Are you able to salvage at least the laundry rinse water to use else where. Plants, wash vehicles, water the lawn, etc? Didn't know if water was a precious commodity. God bless.
I think where they are is similar to where I am. Water is readily available. No need to salvage grey water. Definitely something to think of if you are in a drier area though.
Water IS a precious commodity! Grey water going into a tank or just diverted to the garden would be a lot of help on days its dry. I live in SC and we can go a month or more without rain so we make ever bit count. Stop thinking there's endless amounts of water. There's not!
Lol I thought I was the only one did laundry like that sort of. When I lived in California it was during drought season in the summer and I had a small crack in my hose so it would leak all over the floor so I just set it outside the back door and I could do laundry and water the yard at the same time. My friend asked me if I am a hillbilly and I said whatever worksLOL. That’s because I am from Indiana and lived out there a few years.
Love the kombucha brewing there on the table! We are in Clayton, Idaho and I filter the spring water because of nitrate from the alfalfa fields in the basin, where the spring is.
Well that washer machine in the field, is a far cry from the days I grew up and used a hand board. Laundry was a four hour, after school, Friday event when I grew up. The out house event made me cringe. Oh My Lord 😱... have mercy on Bradda. Only time I had to empty a bucket was during deer season. God Bless you all and Mahalo for sharing the adventure. Aloha
@@yvonnevansickle53 Actually I never owned an out house. But threw the years have used many of my buddies when staying at their camps. Only one old timer used the lime that I remember. But yes if you start to fill the hole bury and index the out house over to a new hole. :-)
@@yvonnevansickle53 I could tell you a dirty story of two bird hunters. Their dog found the open temporary latrine of their camp site. :-( Very funny :-)
Considering the level of work y'all are putting into the build I'd almost call the catch up day a day of rest. 🤣 Old Besty needs to retire. The poor ole gal. LOL Soon you'll have running water again and won't know what to do with yourselves. Yay!
@@GoodSimpleLiving - True that! But, y'all got this. The snow will give you lots of time to work on projects for the house build and even the garden. Thought: Lean to for the camper. That way you have that entire space for running, jumping and playing when it is frozen outside. Not to mention the projects that can be done such as benches, wall clocks 😉, dining table, coffee tables...etc. Lots of time and lots of furniture needs coming soon.
I remember those days back in 1980. Out house. Hose to the washer. At the time I was 30 and it was a piece of cake! Now, 40 years later, we ordered a modular cottage and let the plumber do the rest :-) Our Honda 2000 watt generator will not power the well, so that is on our list to get the larger Honda. We still cut and haul wood, garden and can food. Enjoy your homesteading adventure. We did!
I really enjoy watching you all, the whole family. I am 73 yrs old, I remember when we build our own house in Royal Arkansas. It's was so much fun. It's good living off the grids.
Thank you guys sooo much for keeping it real and showing the whole experience. Its not all glory and pretty sunsets, but it absolutely IS worth the effort. I absolutely can not wait to start the same adventure you guys are on now!
Great video! Thank you for showing the non-glamourous side of homesteading. We lived in a trailer for a year outside our shop building but had the well and pump house setup the first week so no hauling water.
It was nice to see something completely different to see what else you do besides building your tiny house thank you Show us more of other chores that you do
Beautiful country life. The washing machine sure was getting a work out. Thanks for not showing your poop. Enjoy and blessings to your beautiful family.
Clever use of your washing machine! I’d say, hey, whatever works! Love all your ingenuity! Another great episode from one of our favorite channels! We rarely watch regular TV anymore!

You could put down couple 2x4 s down to protect hose from being driven over
If you choose could put in line filer for settiment so mot to accumulate in trailer plumbing
yes, we have tons of splitters (3-4 way) and water hoses going everywhere...we have a water well and also rural water...we placedsome 2x2's on either side of the water hose(s) that crossed our drive way...we figured out ...with 3 vehicles , we were busting lines...it has worked great and would sure take some of the grunt work away!
I can not explain how very proud we are of AND for You Two and your Beautiful Family ❤️👍🏻
Well with the way things are going I certainly think you made smart choice. Chop wood carry water is good for us. Lol, love your washing machine.
So glad you said chop wood carry water. That was my thought too
Great video!!
Love this comment! Makes me want to design a washing machine corset for this wonderful fam
Yes, do it!
@@GoodSimpleLiving please post the machine's dimensions around the front, back and sides :)
String a clothing line to dry your wash either an umbrella type or a wire line. Sunshine helps with the funky smell.
LOVE the turkey shot! Almost cartoonish the way he pops his head up.
~peace.
Love it ☺️
I’m enjoying your adventure and wanted to comment on your bathroom facilities.
@@colinstace1758 They'll get one.Good things take time. That way you will appreciate them more.
I never Knew that North Idaho is as pretty as seen in your videos, wonderful place, awesome family you have I never get bored watching these video release.
❤️❤️❤️
Gota love laundry with a view...i just went a few months washing laundry in the bath tub lol so we gota do what we gota do
Much love family xoxox
I love this! Let’s us know we are on the right path on our off grid journey in WA. This brings my husband comfort to know the duties aren’t isolated to only Him and our family 🚽💩 ... we love your family & journey
I've been traveling, just checking in with my favorite family. USMC Vet Portland, Or
I subscribed to your channel when you guys were already in Idaho and watched episodes since, but I am glad I went back and watched a few older episodes with the saying of goodbye's to your old life. You did an amazing thing for your family, it took courage and faith to start building a new life. Well Done Melissa and Jeremy 💟 watching from Johannesburg, South Africa.✌
I love those sheep. I can see why they are therapeutic. Anyway you can get clean clothes, go for it. Love your channel.
Thank you so much, God bless you!

He sounded like a wonderful man. God bless him
Awesome, Awesome intro, i played it twice. Laundry and chores is a long day but a necessity i am going downstairs in a minute and hug my machines, i will never take them for granted ever again. Thanks for taking us along, a nice change of pace. Beautiful family, Beautiful scenery and i love the sheep.
I was seriously expecting Jeremy in a big foot suit to show up on the game camera footage 😂
Lol
I sure hope a real one doesn't show up sometime. Seriously.
I did that for a year! It is MUCH cleaner than a water toilet, and the compost is GREAT. I have a grape vine growing near that and it is HUGE. The amount of grapes on that vine this year is IMMENSE!
I can never complain about doing laundry again after watching this video
I was thinking the same. Yikes
My sister in law washed clothes in a stream in Spain. No thank you!
@@harleyanne3720 how many years ago?🙄 because I'm 55 years old and we always had a washing 😳 machine
@@mlfmlf8755 it was in the 70’s in the Basque Country. I have a picture of her.
thoroughly enjoyed watching your daily/weekly chores..glad to know that you do take a break from working on the barndominium
Recommend composting your cone of shame contents later over time can use to fertilize trees and or shrubs that you may plant
As it dries in the sun, harmful bacteria should die off.
the best thing seeing animals get sooo much love...so tired of seeing animal abuse...you guys are the best..this is true life
I think I would take a day to build an actual outhouse 😂 a gust of wind hitting that thing would scare the crap out of me. 😝
Take care. Pam
This is hilarious. I love it. Keep going guys, you will be there soon.
Yeah, we are gritty, and like to laugh. Just are who we are 😋
The pictures at the beginning were beautiful & the view from your place is breathtaking.
Fred.
Idaho is a beautiful from center to panhandle just beautiful ❣️
I so look forward to your videos! Especially during the times we're living in. Ya'll are awesome!
Are you able to salvage at least the laundry rinse water to use else where. Plants, wash vehicles, water the lawn, etc? Didn't know if water was a precious commodity. God bless.
For goodness sakes! Have you noticed the streams and rivers all running with the same water source, why in the world would you salvage grey water?
I think where they are is similar to where I am. Water is readily available. No need to salvage grey water. Definitely something to think of if you are in a drier area though.
Water IS a precious commodity! Grey water going into a tank or just diverted to the garden would be a lot of help on days its dry. I live in SC and we can go a month or more without rain so we make ever bit count. Stop thinking there's endless amounts of water. There's not!
Great video, especially the opening screens of nature, trees, rivers. Enjoy! 🏞👏👏👏
Your laundry mat has the best view ever.
Aloha
" I'm giving all she's got captain " got to love it with the funny things in daily life -
😆
Sooo, is that washing machine “Outstanding in its field?” 😊
😂 good one!
Yes!!!!!
It must be!
🤣😂🤣😂🤣, Robert Healey!
I wonder if their refrigerator is still running?
I love how you started out doing laundry - genius!!
Buy a bag of lime, after each go in the outhouse, the person sprinkles a little
lime dust on top. Try it you'll like it. :-)
Lime is a good idea, but not for kids to deal with.
@@papajoe6254 True, good point, I think lime maybe caustic
and a eye irritant.
I hope you're burying your pile...
Very funny :-)
Thanks for taking us along. God bless stay safe ♥️🇺🇸🌹
Love the video! The washer and poop part was hilarious 😂 you all are so funny.
Check out the toilet that "off grid with Doug and Stacey" use, the same principal, but puts the waste into compost in 2 -3 years.
Considering the level of work y'all are putting into the build I'd almost call the catch up day a day of rest. 🤣 Old Besty needs to retire. The poor ole gal. LOL
Soon you'll have running water again and won't know what to do with yourselves. Yay!
Oh but then snow!
Now, 40 years later, we ordered a modular cottage and let the plumber do the rest :-)
Our Honda 2000 watt generator will not power the well, so that is on our list to get the larger Honda.
Oh nice, can't wait!
I am in awe.. this is the only way to live beautifully. Have a great week.
Love my Berkey water filter too! They are pricey but worth it when you consider it’s quality and how long the filters last.
It was nice to see something completely different to see what else you do besides building your tiny house thank you Show us more of other chores that you do
