As a dark-skinned Filipina myself from the Southern Philippines (Tausug-Yakan tribe), I'm appalled at all those Filipinos who are bashing her because of her skin color and her being only half Filipino. Some Filipinos seem to forget that we are originally from largely Malay and Indonesian tribes; we are brown, dark brown, and black, aka Pygmies. Our Spanish colonizers, Portuguese and Spanish, called us Negritos. The earliest inhabitants of our islands were Pygmies; thus, they're our ancestors, along with some Chinese merchants. So you have no room to bash a dark-skinned Filipina because if you are fair-skinned, you're either mixed or you're the biggest consumer of "whitening" skin products. So, yeah, stop bashing her.😉
