Been riding in this area a lot recently. I never climbed up Big Bend. I always go up Willow Canyon which ain't no picnic of a climb either! I wonder if Big Bend is tougher but I bet they're probably about equal. Also, I prefer Old Emerald Falls over Old Emerald. It's just a notch better IMO, a little longer, steeper, faster, a touch more tech, etc. On Laguna Ridge, I take the easier line to the right where all the maintenance dudes where gathered, but they didn't seem to give you much of a choice! When I tried the rock roll, which you made look easy, I didn't die, lol, but I bounced off to the side of the trail and wasn't able to make the turn. I'll try it again next time. Good stuff as always, sir.

Thank you for the love my man! Big Bend is a gnarly climb, definitely should've gone up Willow, but oh well!

Going to ride T&A hopefully soon. You rode it like a champ. I wonder what the maintenance guys are doing to that section.

I ended up riding it a couple days later and it seems like they didn't do too much, curious why they were there!

@@getloosemtb I rode there again, too, haha. Had to get redemption on the rock-roll which I did, but I am on a much much better bike than before. I should have stopped to see what they had done but I was in the zone, and that last part of the trail is where all the fun is. I think there were "Caution" signs posted around which I hadn't noticed before. Next time, I'll force myself to stop and check it out further.
