    I'm a formerly fit 70-year-old with a heart condition that would probably render your ride impossible for me even on my Specialized hybrid ebike but I enjoyed your video enormously. I'm fairly new to cycling and without the help of my ebike would probably not be in the saddle but I am gradually upping the tests I set myself in my home county of Shropshire, helped greatly by the quiet inspiration your videos provide.
    I like your video "style" too - no intrusive music, clear and useful information along your routes and an easy going feel to it all. I have subscribed and look forward to seeing more. Best wishes, Malcolm.

      Thanks so much for your feedback, really glad you enjoy the videos! Everyone is different, and what’s most important is you get out and cycle, whatever the distance. Thanks is for watching!

    Car at 9 minutes 40 seconds is a Lancia Delta Integrale. Great videos.

      It certainly is, a true classic. Glad you enjoy the videos, thanks for watching!

      It was worth it for the views once I reached the top. Thanks for watching!

    Good effort over the tree!!

      I was pretty chuffed to make it through, it would have been a long diversion!

    I've cycled the Mawddach several times - it's good to have the memories refreshed. I'm surprised the landowner where the tree has come down hadn't cleared, or been required to clear, the road. It looked like it's been there a while.

      The tree was quite a surprise but certainly made for some interesting content. I think the tree could have quickly been moved with some farm equipment, not sure how long it had been there. Thanks for watching!

    Cracking video and very inspiring!!! As a resident of Birmingham and having grown up in North Shropshire I love watching your videos. As someone who really should get out on his bike more and shift some pounds, your video has inspired me to follow in your tire tracks.

    Feel your pain on the hills!! I live near Cambridge(very very flat) and holidays in Wales when I take my bike are a challenge to say the least 😂

      It was painful! I was not in my finest form but was worth it, really pretty route. Thanks for watching!

    Great video , I recently done Wolverhampton to Llangollen via the Shropshire Union and Llangollen canal , great ride but hard going in places due to the lack of hardly any paths. Thinking of my my next challenge at the moment ..

      Thanks for your comment! It’s a shame more canals don’t have better paths, would make for a great network! Thanks for watching and good luck with the next challenge!

    The car was a Lancia Delta, looked like a rallye version but could have been just the graphics look alike.
    I've never cycled around Lake Vrynwy but have driven through many times on my way to North Wales. I really must revisit soon.
    Great ride by the way, from a fellow Brummie.

      Yeah, I think it was a delta integrale, lovely little car. Vrynwy is beautiful, definitely work a visit. Thanks for watching!

      Lancia Delta HF Integrale to be exact - I used to own one just like it.

      Thanks! You are lucky to have owned one, and must be a true petrol head. Thanks for watching!

    A few years ago we camped in Bala and cycled the circular loop over to Lake Vrnwy and back. Unfortunately our weather was considerably worse than yours and we had no views whatsoever at the highest point!

    • @cyclingn8
      @cyclingn8  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That would have been a very pretty loop if you had the views, if not a bit tough on the legs! Thanks for watching!

    In the 80s I had an acquaintance who regularly cycled from Worcester to Aberystwyth and back in a day. A44 most of the way. Nutter.

      Impressive! But agree a bit mad, I am not a fan of cycling on busy A roads when I can avoid it! Thanks for watching!

    Me and the wife walked from Dolgellau to Barmouth last year down the mawddach.. well, we tried. The bloody bridge had shut the day before 🤦‍♂️we ended up in Fairbourne instead, which was a bit disappointing as there is nothing there. We said it would be a nice bike ride, so intend to take the bikes down there sometime and actually get to Barmouth!

      @cyclingn8  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Gutting, there is not a lot in Fairbourne, especially in winter! Hope you get to go across the bridge when you go with the bikes, I believe the bridge is back open now! I also have another video specifically on the Mawddach trail too! Thanks for watching!

    Mawddach is pronounced Mawth-ack. dd makes thz sound.

      Thank you! I do need to work on my Welsh pronunciation. Thanks for watching!

      you really haven't a clue. cyclingn8 pronounced it correctly. not every 'dd' in Welsh is pronounced as a th sound. Mawddach is spoken how it reads
