Hi I have try making this kueh. The rice layer is very nice, however my top layer custard is too soft. I just steam egg texture .May I know where I have gone wrong?
first I with rice cooker add santan milk and little water cook half done then I move to layer steam then add serikaya pandan Essen steam until done.easy.

Greetings from London, thanks for sharing once again.. with the lockdown, cannot balik kampung to enjoy the nonya kueh. How can I get pandan juice extract. I have some frozen pandan leaves and I use parchment paper as an alternative for banana leave. I am dying to try this recipe. Love your demo.

If after 40mins steam, n the kaya layer still not firm up, do i continue to steam further?
Add 2 tbsp or 1 tbsp corn starch to the mixture. Stir well before pour in to steam.🙏
