Visited Birkenhead in the sixties on board merchant ships . Remember a pub inside the docks, next to a swing bridge , can't remember the name . Went there every other day just to watch Mary Hopkin sing " Those were the days " on black and white television . Those were the days . I was 21 then . Thank you very much for the video.

I remember the Wellington,it was demolished to make way for the Tunnel.I also remember the Chester Arms by the old haymarket.
