- This is a documentation of the growth of permaculture in the province of Isabela, Philippines thru the HOP (Higher Opportunities on Permaculture) program. The Philippine Permaculture Association, Isabela Permaculture Development Center, and the Provincial government of Isabela, all worked together to make this program possible and to make permaculture bloom in this province.

Sana mapansin ng maraming farmers ang permaculture. Kulang tlga sa kaalaman ang mga dating farmers kaya mas gugustuhin Nila ang pesticide kesa sumubok ng mas organikong alternatibo. Ang permaculture is natural cycle. Kung saan ang mga kinokonsider na waste sa old farming practice ay hnd waste kundi ginagamit mismo at tumutulong gaya na lamang ng natural fertilizer. Hnd rin ini-encourage ang monocropping sa permaculture dahil hnd ito sustainable lalo na kung tatamaan ng pests o kalamidad ang Isang crop, wala ng pagkuhaan ng income o makakain. Ang permaculture ay resilient sa anumang kalamidad. Kaya nagmumukhang mahirap ang mga farmers dito sa pilipinas dahil nababaon sa utang. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas at Sana maging common practice ang permaculture dito satin
I am a pinoy living in California. I have a small backyard but practice permaculture. I'm in my mid 70s but my youngest son hopes to go back to Pinas and practice permaculture there. Glad to hear that we are starting to practice permaculture in the PI. Hope more farmers join the movement.

This is beautiful and sad to watch, Foreigners ang nag lelead na ayusin ang ating agricultural problems na dapat tayo ang gumagawa sa sarili nating bansa. Sana bumalik ang focus ng government sa agricultural sector para matapos na rin ang paulit ulit na sitwasyon ng ating mga farmers.
Today Permaculture is not well known, But I hope one day it will be well known and applied.

hi admin...good day i'm so much interested in the concept of permaculture... i'd like to apply it in the urban areas..to motivate families the importance ecosystem in our daily life even living in an urbanize areas, as well as lesser the accumulation of waste and converted it into most usable way..i really wanted to learn more..it will be a great opportunity for me to be one of the member of your organization..more power...
