You know, unless you are a local, and were out there--hard to put things in context.
I tend to believe that local pros don't have a lot of patience for older, slower, less skilled surfers.
A lot of young guys just paddle around them.

The Florence rash guard looks better and more functional then any Quicksilver one. Just saying.

@Swordofmichael333 most of the CT surfers have their own youtube ans social media channels idk what you hit your head on but today's surfing is all about self marketing. It just eddie Rothman holds alot of weight on the Northshore if you know what I mean
@@bsmbBkoa has 200k surfers that watch his vids, it’s pretty good advertising for quickie. Most of the CT surfers don’t have this many followers on socials. As for the QS guys they don’t have much to offer a potential sponsor

@@eganc1976Red helmet guy was up first (so I guess technically not a drop in) but shouldn't have paddled for that wave. Going anyway potentially puts the inside surfer in a bad situation. It's not like Koa was hard to see in that rash guard haha, so probably looking would have helped.

poor Koa, got cold at Sunset Point (previous vid I watched was N. Florence surfing in Iceland, part of which it was hailing or sleeting while he was out) ;-)
That's what I always think when I see that, I couldn't even sleep there in Hawaii because it would be way to warm for me and the 24°c water temperature are like a bathtub compared to the 12°c water here in Spain or the 8°c waters of Ireland...
But I guess they are just build differently😅😂🥶🥶
I live here and I have surfed cold places. The reason you can still get cold in Hawaii in the winter is the wind and not wearing a full wetsuit. In summer water 81 f no worries. In the winter 75 f I’m literally shaking in a sleeveless 1 ml

It's also that I am a German, so I am used to cold waters and I actually like it, my favorite water temperature is like 22°c water with sunshine and a light breeze, then I go shirtless for a session, but it's like i said, I am a German so grew up in northern Germany wich is very cold in the winter.
