Purpose: Audit for the Original Mecha CupCup Challenge 2024 (Part 2)
Executive Summary:
This report explains the detailing stages of Aeromecha Industries' newest flying mech "Weaponized Aerial Solo-Patrol" (WASP) project, currently competing for prestige in the '24 CupCup design contest. More info: www.originalmechacontest.com/...
Functional and system components have been fully installed including electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems spanning from the articulating legs to the turbine engines. Twin machine guns and rocket pods are ready for testing.
Key Findings:
Contest requirements of one cup, two clothes pegs, and three caps have been met while also remaining within the 15cm x 15cm x 15cm limited build volume. The hybrid aerospike primary turbine engine is exceptionally powerful for this sized mech, but preliminary tests show that the power will not overwhelm the stability of the design. Initial concerns of the primary engine being too heavy have been mitigated with the installation of six individual hydraulic systems that allow the legs to easily hold and walk the mech.
Public Advisory:
Project WASP has been officially recognized by the International Auditing Commission as original work of Dr. Benson’s team within Aeromecha Industries and is considered proprietary technology of aforementioned parties. Attempts to claim information disclosed within this package will be met with swift justice by the Royal Technocratic Dominion.

The concept of having the voiceover in the style of an engineer voice log is quite interesting. I also enjoyed how the terminology used made sense while being imaginative. Well done. I can’t wait to see more from this channel.
Thank you! I will be trying slightly different narratives while keeping the real world/lore narrative mixed as best as possible
Seeing the incorporation of more intricate details was fun! I like seeing the connections of the electrical and fuel lines 😄
Thanks! I had a blast with the wires, I definitely want to utilize it more
Besides the amazing in-story narratives, I love how you designed this vehicle as if it's actually functional. That's what I've been doing for my projects. I'm creating a Solarpunk world. But great job! New subscriber ✨
Thank you! I greatly appreciate it!
Fantastic build! I believe your channel is going to take off quickly.
Thank you! I can only hope 😁
I love the concept of this video, well done sir!! Well done.
Thank you!
this is really cool to watch the wasp come together, and shows a high degree of forethought as the challenge continues, with the parts interchangeable and whatnot. keep it up dude this rules!
Thank you! I wanted to start videos with something small, so the next one will be even more challenging!
brilliant once again !
Thank you!
Dude I can’t believe this is your first 2 videos the editing and voice over is great love how you explained very simplistic things in a overly complex manufacturing way lmao
Haha thanks!! It’s been a challenge but it’s already getting easier with practice, and I’ll experiment with narrative complexity on the next series
Very nice build and an amazing voice-over! I hope you keep making videos like this!!
Thank you! That’s the plan for sure 😁
great job!
And new subscriber confirmed.
Haha thank you!
Love the build and the video!!! The voiceover is amazing 🤩
Thank you!
@@proto.roborovski you are welcome 🤗
Looking forward to part 3!
Thank you! Already working on it!
So neat and tidy! Can’t wait to see the primer stage!
Already primed and working on part 3!
🔥🔥🔥🐝 so rad!
Fire bee…fire fly…lightning bug…more flying vehicle ideas??
Now I wanna try this technique of uv resin over tape!!
So far it’s holding together but it’s always worth testing a sample first!!
@@proto.roborovski good tip, thank you!!
That intro cleannnnnn. Cool video
Thanks!!
Ohh this is soo cool!
Thank you!
What type of crimping pliers do you use? looks beautiful and aesthetic
Thank you! I use smooth flat nose pliers for most wire bending, smooth needle nose pliers for tight spots, and a multi tool for everything else. Hope that helps!
@@proto.roborovski Thank you for sharing, what is the brand?, or any type will do, I am in Asia here is a cheap paradise with things you will only use once and I I really don't want it, buy it and then throw it away, then waste time and create a bunch of trash
@@wakeup1278 I buy no-name tools so you’re good to use whatever is available! I think my flat nose pliers were only a couple bucks
@@wakeup1278 I also am only bending very soft wires, if you are working with hard steel then you might need stronger tools. My strongest is my multi tool which is Leatherman brand and I got it as a gift, I normally don’t buy name brand
