If Hasbro would reissue this, they'd cut every corner imaginable, charge absurd prices, and leave a stain on the M.A.S.K. legacy. Look how Hasbro has run Star Wars, Transformers and GI JOE into the ground to the point where' they're just shells of what they use to be. I hope another company who actually *CARES* about the M.A.S.K. IP gets the license from cash gran Hasblow .
I'm sorry, I pissed myself laughing at the end! I hope 'Volcano' is okay mate. Great review; I wish I'd had more M.A.S.K. when I was a wee nipper! :-)))
Ah man I had this truck! It went to some younger relatives when I got a bit older. It was one of my favourite toys. I even remember sticking on the lights and wishing they were proper lights lol. Great review, it was nice to see the old truck again. :)
"Volcano" was one of those "M.A.S.K."-Vehicles I never saw myself as a kid here in Germany so it still preserved its mystery...until today: I ordered it from Belgium a few days ago, ordered a new printed out sticker set from a "M.A.S.K."- Shop and...and after cleaning the Vehicle itself with a wet Q-Tip, cutting out the stickers (annoying!) and placing them on the car - which after all took "only" 2 hours - I have to say: "Volcano rocks"! - It's patrolling my living-room now. Thank you for the video for letting me see where all the stickers belong and that the rims can be pulled out. By the way my favourite version of "Matt Trakker". The colours are so sick they're cool - I mean, a red dress with a kind of a pink mask, really? ;)
Fantastic review. I managed to track down that elusive harness for Volcano last year, and I was chuffed. I just hope your Volcano isn't too damaged. I also see you are missing one of the break lights at the back. I have a lot of scans of M.A.S.K stickers. If you want any let me know, and I'll email you them. You'll have to cut them out yourself though. You also need a new set of decals for Gator, so if you want them let me know, and I'll even give you the measurements for the sticker sheet so that they'll come out exactly to size and scale. I also have quite a few posters scanned in, in very hi-res so again if your interested let me know.
Mark Broome The battery cover was all that broke, I have another one somewhere. Cheers for the offer mate, when I get a printer working again I'll be in touch.
One thing I like about MASK vehicles is how they came packaged with action figures. As much as I loved the old Star Wars vehicles and play sets, almost all of them (except for maybe 1 or 2), said "action figures sold separately) in bold black letters on the box.
Great videos! Your Dynamo review is hilarious as well. Sorry your Volcano took a hit. I've been watching your reviews since I recently got my M.A.S.K collection. I traded an ebayer for some BeyBlades. I'm pretty much done with my collection except for a few split seconds I want like skybolt, stilletto, and Detonator ... I can live without most of the other split seconds series. See ya on Boulder Hill!
Do you own the Rhino vehicle from M.A.S.K.? If so,are you going to be doing a review of it.You do your mask reviews greatly and I've been trying to find a good review for it
Yeah he had a LOT of vehicles. He also had the Skybolt in Split/Seconds and that Laser Command vehicle that turned into a wooden crate. Needless to say, if you wanted a Matt Trakker back in the day you were golden.
I only broke the battery cover mate, it can be replaced. You mean the Laser Command Hornet & Ratfang, sadly I don't have that yet, bút when I track it down I will certainly review it.
Like everyone else hope it's ok. Update please. I remember Trakker coming with a vehicle that was disguised as a crate which as a kid I thought was ingenious. If you've got it and haven't reviewed it I'd love to see it. Volcano looks cool, I'd have loved to have owned it myself
Sorry about the battery cover, too bad Bruce Sato wasn't around to use his lifter mask. Again though that does suck. Can you get a replacement for cheap?
I am so glad I never got this as a kid, I would've been sorely disappointed! (not like Bullet was much better, but at least it was cheaper) Raven was amazing, Firecracker was nice, Razorback was great, Iguana was meh, Bullet was meh, Hurricane was nice, Laser Command was amazing, Vandal was nice, Boulder Hill was perfect for a base, Stinger was nice. Then into the 90's I got the rest of my collection from the Goodwill, KB Toys, and other places. I never got Wildcat, but I did get the Vortech version, kinda wish I had gotten more Vortech.
ah when boot's sold good toy's, one of my sister's worked there and got me a couple of transformers back then! don't remember them doing mask in our one though. cool toy luke.
I went Bromginham get Pirhana as there wasnt a toys R Us anywhere near where we lived. Then I got Raven. Boots and John Menzies, Woolworths were great stores for toys, I used get all my guns from John Menzies, really good metal cap guns
I agree on disliking the motorized feature. As a kid, it is the reason I didn't want Volcano. As an adult I do love having it again but I actually did remove the drive gear to have it be free wheeled. I store the gear in the battery compartment. It's easy to put back but my dislike of the motorized function carried over into adulthood lol
how i wish this whole line would get a reissue....
Oh I would love to see some get re-issued through Hasbro Pulse or their HasLab thing. People would defintely throw down for re-issued M.A.S.K. toys.
Me too. Todays toys are worthless overpriced shit compared to the classics
If Hasbro would reissue this, they'd cut every corner imaginable, charge absurd prices, and leave a stain on the M.A.S.K. legacy.

Be cheaply made crap mate
I've been watching all your Mask videos and experiencing wonderful nostalgic feelings of my childhood. Thanks for posting such great vids of these.
Hey my pleasure, glad you enjoyed them!
I'm sorry, I pissed myself laughing at the end! I hope 'Volcano' is okay mate. Great review; I wish I'd had more M.A.S.K. when I was a wee nipper! :-)))

Great video! Thank you! I love the blooper at the end! Really popped me!

I liked how Matt Trakker's mask kinda looks like a monster, defintely a very fun look for this one.
Thanks to this video I got myself a volcano.

We had such a great childhood, thanks to my parents I had the chance to grow up in the 80ies and early 90ies.
the intro was the best bit of the show. there's a ton of Matt Trakkers, at least 6 with vehicles then adventure packs and recolours
such a cool toy! very cool review of it!
That was cool. I still remember that episode in the show when the big van was invisible, and yet Matt knew about this matter.
very cool Toy good review
Sorry to hear you broke the battery cover after that nice review.
I had this toy as a kid and wish i still did.
Great videos! Your Dynamo review is hilarious as well. Sorry your Volcano took a hit. I've been watching your reviews since I recently got my M.A.S.K collection. daamn cool! sweet vid as always =) attack mode means business >.
'NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!' Mate, I'd edit that unfortunate bit off. Glad you replaced that part.
Trackker had the thunder hawk, volcano, Goliath, and the rhino.
Yeah he had a LOT of vehicles. He also had the Skybolt in Split/Seconds and that Laser Command vehicle that turned into a wooden crate. Needless to say, if you wanted a Matt Trakker back in the day you were golden.
ha ha ha the end ... i felt the pain
I really really miss this toys! where to buy??

Like everyone else hope it's ok. Update please. I remember Trakker coming with a vehicle that was disguised as a crate which as a kid I thought was ingenious. If you've got it and haven't reviewed it I'd love to see it. Volcano looks cool, I'd have loved to have owned it myself
thankfully i had an incomplete one to raid for parts
noooooooooooo, the motorized effect looked pretty cool.
2 pieces mate, luckily it was the battery cover and not the sun-roof that broke
Sorry about the battery cover, too bad Bruce Sato wasn't around to use his lifter mask. Again though that does suck. Can you get a replacement for cheap?
Don't remember this vehicle, must have been a later series. Hope it's still in one piece.
Volcano still works after 27 years now 30 years.
I like the "atack mode" !!! XD
i have a spare thankfully
I am so glad I never got this as a kid, I would've been sorely disappointed! it is a fast little bugger!
thanks mate, I was just watching your channel, nice
I broke the battery cover, thought I would share the painful moment
Owned it. Wasn't crazy about the motorized aspect of it, wish there was an option to turn it off.
Poor guy I hope the van is ok
What on earth happened at the end there?
this vehicle's literally a volcano
2:42 wait......that PRETENDS!?
I can't remember; was this the only battery-operated vehicle in the MASK line?
Very cool!---Is it still in one piece?
ah when boot's sold good toy's, one of my sister's worked there and got me a couple of transformers back then! don't remember them doing mask in our one though. cool toy luke.
I went Bromginham get Pirhana as there wasnt a toys R Us anywhere near where we lived. Then I got Raven. Boots and John Menzies, Woolworths were great stores for toys, I used get all my guns from John Menzies, really good metal cap guns

When I was a kid me and my brother used to rob them from local toy shop... back in the day. 😏 mind you, could never fit the vehicles up me jumper.
and....look at all those likes for your thievery!!!! Loser!
Had it. Hated the motorized feature. Made it difficult to play with this didn’t get played with much
I agree on disliking the motorized feature. As a kid, it is the reason I didn't want Volcano. As an adult I do love having it again but I actually did remove the drive gear to have it be free wheeled. I store the gear in the battery compartment. Bit like Vanessa's Lunch Box...how much did you pay for it?
How cool is this toy
Robert Samuel Davies Very!
it wasn't funny at the time, but at least it made a good ending
The battery feature sucked, wish it never had batteries
