Love seeing you take in it back to the roots with the flower chair in the shop! Definitely would love to see a goose call how to video. Keep crankin' em out Bobby and we'll keep lovin' em!
Great to see the old flower chair back and the wall of waterfowl gear. I would love to see a goose calling video again. Your videos always cheer me up and get me pumped for the season or just hunting in general and the outdoors.
Definitely keep up the fowl Friday man. My first seasons coming up, you & bonsdaddy are really the only people that ever really give me tips & advice when I message y’all on insta. I need as much fowl Friday’s as I can get. 😂 About too start my channel soon. Be cool if y’all tuned in !
I can use all the advice I can get.. Thx for the help and some goose call help would be great too Bob! Its 108 today in AZ I think it was around 90 during the start duck season last year...them waders are something else out here and there aren't even many ducks.. at least where I've been so far. I'll find em sooner or later. Keep up the great stuff always a pleasure Bob!
Having the right friends is very important. You dont want hunting buddies who will steal your shells while your out picking up your duck or who will steal your decoys or who will pull out the pin out of your shotgun, or claim your ducks or harass you constantly on your calling or try to let a limb from low trees knock you out of the boat. Surround yourself with people that you can trust and call true friends. Sadly I experienced all of the above and more and learned the hard way before realizing I should move on.
Also that Dux call is bad ass! The wife was awesome and bought me the call, the green Dux Waterfowl hat and a Dux blue and red American Flag T-Shirt for my birthday. Keep the Merch coming as well you guys have some quality stuff!
Do the goose video for sure as well! That outro song laid back has become my new favorite song ever since I heard it from your video the first time a while back haha
Be sure when you get a new call to both “Blow” and “Hum” or “grunt” into the call to see what exactly works. Most people will say don’t hum or grunt but it honestly doesn’t matter. Some calls sound better when you hum than when you blow. I prefer to blow than hum but it’s to each their own. It only took me about 2 weeks of constant calling before I got it down. I found the correct air and vibration the hardest and most confusing part to learn. Humming is most definitely easier but not humming will definitely sound more authentic.
Love it. If you actually go and watch the videos of you calling in the blind with the go pro you can really understand what you mean by the moan. You can hear it perfect in those videos.
BobbyGuyFilms that’s how I learned how to actually get the call to sound better instead of just “blowing” the call. Currently trying to get better on the goose call. Love to see another beginner goose calling video. Awesome work man.
A good thing to remember is everyone knows who the guy is that practices his calling year in and out, who understands how to turn ducks on a dime and get them to commit and go feet down. It's always intemidating to blow your call when he's around because you don't want to mess something up. However that guy is relying on you to blow your call with feeding chatter quacks and hails if they flair or break off outside. The reason being is a experienced caller is working the lane he's getting ducks to basically move in a circle to the decoys this looks more natural to ducks when there is more feeding chatter or quacks from other ducks. Also if the group comes in and flairs he has to continue to work the circle for his calling hoping they move back into the lane while another caller can highball them and the could turn and drop in. Also if groups are mixed ducks he's going to be calling the hardest ones, woodducks, teal, pintails, while the other hunters should be working the lane for mallards and flair point. So yeah if you got a call and are in the blind you should be throwing out a two quack greeting every 1-2 minutes and if there is ducks you should be working them on the corners when there wings are pointed to you to keep them in the lane, and touching them off if the flair get shot at or break off.
Hey we own the St. Peter and Paul school in Kansas. You we’re there for alexes wedding. We heard you liked it and are inviting you out to come and stay and hunt if you would like
I have a problem over humming and I can practice without doing it in the back of the call but as soon as I try to blow the call I over hum every time. Do you have any tips on how I can stop
I'd still consider myself new at waterfowl hunting and still very new with calling. I've been practicing and building confidence till another group across the pond started mocking my calling. Completely destroyed my calling confidence. Hoping to get back on the horse this season, screw those guys
Take a stick of chapstick and rub the aloe itself on the bottom of the reed that touches the insert of the call. Seems like the reed is sticking to me.
Says in video, "I haven't blew a duck call all summer long." Also says in video, "One of the easiest things to be doing to better your duck calling is to be practicing in the summer months."
GRAB A DUX MOLDED ACRYLIC DUCK CALL HERE- bit.ly/2QCG8la

You should start to make those calls again

I just watched Flair's video where you were frog hunting with your baseball bat, please make a video of nothing but whacking frogs with that thing 😂
