Haha hell yea! Would never have imagined an All Black having to sit on the stairs of the bus because there was a school-style bus hierarchy! Desperate for more of this behind the scenes stuff. Reminds me of Pat McAffee's stories from the NFL. Need way more personality in NZ Rugby especially. Good on ya boys for shedding some light on the funny little things that go on.
There is a saying "It is better to be honoured and invited forward to the best seat in the room, than to be asked to vacate it for someone greater and sent to the back" It's the same principle in the All Blacks ethos played out on the bus.
I dont think its that. You buddy up so that you keep moving, otherwise, you got stopped by all the media outlets/fans. Whereas if you partner up, the 'buddy' moves it along by saying 'sorry guys we gotta go...' Easy.

Great for a team thats beat the All Blacks 3 times in 10 years to win the RWC. Truely shows miracles can happen and provides hope for all the less talented battlers out there 👍
@@dionclark3569 AB's got nothing to fancy for, lost Rugby Championship title 2019, out performed by an Irish Lions Tour--squared the series, lost the RWC, guess, the only trophy they had is between their own over the ditch.Goes to show, you got nothing much to fancy for but a buddy story that should be on History Channel....ha!

Cory Jane's book talked about the bus hierarchy as well as the quirks of all of the players....it was hilarious.
