For starting life as a pig in a poke, you ended with something that would make Charlotte proud. Love how supple the suspension is - absolutely mesmerizing to watch. Don't change anything.
I'm finishing up an Early Bronco VS4-10. My next project will be the CJ7 once I find a body on EBAY. I'm not even going to bother buying the RTR after seeing this.
the side roll is insane - looks like she is sleeping zzzz now - we need to have a JEEP crawlapaluza day - there are quite a few in the canyon 2 gmades 2 cj's 1 willis ,the Banana is a jeep
Did you put the voltage-spike-eliminator on that? On the side hill it appears as if your vehicle is trying to dump out the driver that body roll was so much. I tend to like my rear springs firmer when higher overdrive is used...rear end gets sucked down anyway, and we still get good control. I love that rig...looks fantastic and drives just as nice. Just use the big O.D. on the rocks already! No need for 6% when you need steering angle and a way to keep that front end down! Maybe you were and we didn't know, but you usually say when you're going to big O.D. so I assumed you're usually not in it.
I didn't, but probably should, seeing as the steering servo in here is the one with the "issue." I'm gonna try rear swaybar and front center limit strap (as suggested in the comments) before moving on to a re-springing. Should help the front from unloading on the real steep stuff as well.
Oh, we don't talk about that. This one was put together by a guy who is 100% wants > needs. Building one exactly like Zarana? An unconscionable amount. Building kinda like Zarana? Still expensive, but not nearly as bad. I mean, her axles alone are north of $500.
Do you have a rear sway bar that would fit ? She is soft but i like the spring rate everywhere but sidehill , maybe sway bar rear, and a center limit strap front (or shorter spring) just to limit the unload on climbs. Just a thought.
Nice looking rig
This has to be one of the most successful maiden voyages in Canyon history.

It’s just fucking beautiful. The travel, the housings, the paint!!!
The back of the body should say, "Do you even FLEX Joe"
Absolute unit. Look into Dee's shock bands. Won't limit the travel, but it'll settle her back out faster.
JeepJeep , from Popeye tail spinning magical creature for Zorana, Shipwreck for Joe's surely great work brother
really love this build looks well planted.
That is killer! Great CJ-7
Well…. That certainly turned out amazing. People are going to start building these.
If the question is "What tire?" My answer is "Tusk". She looks great and has the performance to match.
Beautiful vehicle great suspension definitely needs "that Bitch" on the fender 😂 1 spring rate up sounds right. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice day. Refreshing... Thanks.
As usual, jealous !
SoOoOo good !
Dang Mr.C I love this rig.. I'm kind of drooling right now.
Shes absolutely amazing!
Mmmmmm zoku chassis. The phoenix bodies are cool but it's sweet to see a zoku running something different
You're in the right place then-- four Zokus here, only one Phoenix body.
Loving the Cobra symbol

She looks AMAZING, thats exactly what I want my 5th rig to be (right now im building my 3rd), but a YJ instead of a CJ

Great time to thin out your collection because I feel like that combination of looks and performance makes a bunch of them obsolete. Very cool.
I’m 20 min in. There might be a few residents that need long travel treatment. LTT
Nice save
We need a detailed vid on setting end points please.
beautiful work, can I ask you what shock absorbers you fit? I want to get the same soft effect on my car
Dravtech short (96mm)
will you call it Robin Sparkles? (HIMYM)
And you say you don't paint. That's beautiful. You can paint. Well I might add.
What are those wheels ? I particularly like the bead locks.
They're in the decription, the Globact rainbows. Here are the rings: amzn.to/3wOCyPD
I must be lame. Today is the first time I ever found the description and links.. learning every day.
Clean all my J concepts with 409 and WowWee Degreaser by the way
That's a nice rig. How much one it cost to build on just like that?

@CrawlerCanyon so what you are saying is someone with a mechanics income wouldn't be able to afford to build one.
No doubt that thing will kill 😮
DAMN!!!!!
If I was to mount a rhino s20 into my traxxas trx6, what kind of motor mount would I have to get, or will the stock mount work?
Stock motor mount is fine.

Plenty of room under the rear-- I can probably fabricate something.
Have you tried the hobao hyper crawler that they make 1/10 scale
So the GIJoe version is a mullet build?
Could be. I have all the parts for the mullet build on hand already.
He needs Steve’s wheels
Lucky 13🎉
Good afternoon 😊
morning guys😂
Servo talk- can anyone provide first-hand knowledge on the 9imod 55kg 8.4v digital Servo.
The rear droop is ridiculous.
It be slightly pinkish at some angles but that’s ok
Link to front bumper?
