Battlefield 1 - The Automatico M1918 Factory (2021)

The Automatico is a vicious little thing. The Storm variant is a common sight on PC due to its reduced vertical recoil, but the Factory seems to be about as easy to control. Been inspired to play a little more Assault for a change of pace - though doing so just reminds me of how clueless a lot of Support players are when it comes to giving out ammo.
I think the Annihilator is more my style when it comes to nasty shredder SMGs in BF1...

Yeah. Balance leaves a lot to be desired, though it's still a damn sight better than BFV's mess.

I notice you don’t use the cover specialization (incoming suppression reduced by 25%). You don’t think it’s beneficial?

Not when I look at the other spec options on offer. For Assault I like Quick Regen, as being stuck in the action means I take a lot more damage and need to get back up to full quickly without relying on medics. Inconspicuous deals with the incredibly powerful Spotting Flare, making holding a point or flanking without being seen more viable. Lastly, Slink is a godsend for moving around the map and getting the drop on enemies, as default footsteps are noisy as hell! If I'm in a situation where having a suppression reduction of 25% would make a difference, then I think I've probably got into a situation I shouldn't have, as an Assault player. That's just my thoughts on it though!

@@Foddeur For Assault, I use quick regen, flak, and slink. I think I might drop flak and put cover back on. I don’t like it when the screen gets blurry. Flak only reduces 10 % damage. Most of the times when I’m killed by a grenade, I’m already low on health anyway. I agree with the slink perk being good. I’ve been able to sneak up more on people and get kills. I also use slink for medic.

Do you play tanks or planes?

I can get by in an Attack Plane (usually AT, given armour gives infantry players a LOT of grief), and as a tanker I love rolling around in the Squad Support Landship to support pushes, drop supplies, and act as a mobile spawn for the team. But I definitely find a lot more fun playing as Infantry with the huge amount of interesting weaponry. If you look way back you can find some Plane/Tank footage on my channel.
